Amateur Radio Operator

This guide is to help you get the Amateur Radio Operator achievement for METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGANCE.

If you're a hardcore fan or just like to hear conversations, the Metal Gear series are famous for their codec calls, and this game is no different. Lots of funny, serious, and important info is shown throughout the calls with Raiden and his team.

It is a LOT, and if you don't like any of it, you can always just click 'Y' to bypass them fast if you just want the achievement.

I used this help on another site, but thought I'd just show it here as well, in case anybody here needs it. Enjoy!

When you regain control of Raiden

After scene where the GRAD fires at you

When you get in the fight with the hammer-wielding cyborg

If you save the civilian on the roof (use an EMP grenade), after picking him up he will stop around the corner. Attack him to shred his clothes off

• B: Raiden, what are you doing?!

After Wolf calls you and tells you to use an elevator

Ok. 2 questions.
First. Do courtney's yes and no saves count as "different codecs?"
Second. Whenever im playing through a chapter. Let's say, i beat too fast a battle and miss the 3/2 codecs exclusive. Then i repeat the chapter. Do i have to hear all the codecs again AND the ones i missed? Do i have to beat the chapter again just for missing those codecs? Or can i just hear the codecs and then leave for the next chapter/file? Lastly. When is this unlocked? The first second i finish every codec or when i finish story mode with everything heard? I hope its the first because it would suck them
