Jinty Top and Tail - Steamtown Carnforth to Windermere

Description
This scenario is for the West Coast Main Line - Windermere Branch available for download from the Workshop - http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=386284902 .

You will be driving a Jinty "top and tail" special from Oxenholme to Windermere, calling at all stations, but first you must take the train from Steamtown Carnforth Depot along the main line to Oxenholme where you will pick up the first passengers.

NB. Requires WCML Over Shap and Jinty 3F add-ons.

Duration - 50 minutes approx.

Very good - looking forward to the return run!! Scouser888 the lake is about one mile from the station - a long walk with your suitcases!!

A very enjoyable scenario. (Again). I liked that it started at Steamtown, I cheated and had a quick drive around, very interesting. They call it the "Lake District", but I didn't see a single lake, and I really had a good look around at Windermere. That aside, lots of fun, highly recommend.

That was an excellent scenario. I really liked it that you got that mainline run in first. I never realised that the Jinty would move along so quickly and it was great to see it sway, very much like I have experienced with little 6-wheeled locos in my day {but they were our Diesel Shunters and not nearly so nice} Thanks for a fun run.

Yes, Andy, I DID enjoy that run! Something different, which of course all good excursions are. Excellent to see all the usual AI traffic on the line to Oxenholme. Well done, and thank you for producing. Everything ran perfectly for me. Regards, David

Thanks for the comments Guys - was not sure how much interest there would be in a Jinty scenario....looks as though I will need to work on a return run Windermere to Carnforth when I get chance :-)

Great scenario, I love to stretch the legs of the little 3f tank. A realistic sensation of commanding a steam rail tour of the time with this scenario, as high speed class 86 express trains, and the all important bread winning freight drawn around by a mix of traditional favourites in the class 47 and 86 of the era, a big thank's to the author, I look forward to sampling more of this great work.
