East Germany (GDR/DDR) With Erich Honecker (G&K)

This mod will add The German Democratic Republic (Deutsche Demokratische Republik), commonly known as East Germany, to the game, with General Secretary of the Socialist Unity Party, Erich Honecker, as its head of state. It includes custom icons and custom music.

Erich Honecker's custom trait is the following:
>Staatssicherheit<
Recieve 2 extra spies at the start of the Renaissance Era. Melee and Gun units gain 25% combat bonus when defending your territory.

East Germany recieves one custom unit, the Grenztruppen (which replaces Infantry and has +4 visibility), and one custom building, the Berlin Wall (which replaces the standard Wall and provides +25% to Great People generation in the city it is built).

This mod WILL NOT REPLACE the standard Germany civilization. I specifically designed it this way in order to allow the player to enjoy the game more realistically, as East Germany never actually stood alone as the only Germany in existence during its time.

This has been tested to work 100% with G&K (and in fact, requires it, as Honecker's leader ability includes spies/espionage content).

You MAY be able to get some playability out of this on BNW. Doing so, however, will most likely cause some glitches, and you may experience crashes. I apologize for this, but I do not have BNW, so at this time I cannot troubleshoot BNW compatibility. If someone has modding experience and owns BNW and wishes to help improve the mod's compatibility with it - please contact me!
