the legendary list of legendaries!
By Count Smashula
NOTE: this guide will contain spoilers of the story. you've been warned!

this is going to be a collection of all the legendary weapons, shields, grenade mods and the class mods in borderlands 2 (at least, thats the plan).
also, the final boss and 2 secret final bosses will get their own mentioning of what legendaries they drop.

I will open the guide and work on it over time. I will put the legendary guns sorted by manufacturer, then the shields and grenade mods will be put together. I will say what enemy drops them, what mission you need to do to unlock them and what point in the story and previous mission you need it for!

in addition, I will make personal notes and grant a rank of 1, 2 or 3, depending on how good the legendary is. 1 is bad, 3 is good.
pictures of the legendaries may come in the future.
so, let's get started!

Bandit weapons
let's just keep it alphabetical, it is easier that way.

first, we have the Gub, a pistol!
boss drop: Laney White
mission required: The cold shoulder (given by scooter after sanctuary gets in the air)
red text: Abt natural
special effect: huge magazine size, increased damage for a bandit pistol, always corrosive element, reduced recoil and improved accuracy
rating: 1+
personal thoughts: the gub more or less is a strong corrosive bandit pistol, and it certainly can be useful. however, ultimate vault hunter mode isn't too kind to it, and the corrosive element limits it to mostly hyperion robots.

next, we have the slagga, an SMG!
boss drop: Tector and Jimbo Hodunk (located by the entrance to lynchwood from the dust)
NOTE: you must have chosen to kill the hodunks to be able to farm this weapon.
mission required: clan wars: ending the war (starts at sanctuary bounty board after sanctuary goes up in the air)
red text: Blagaga
special effect: always slag, reduced damage, shoots 3 shots for the price of 1 SMG ammo, increased elemental effect chance
rating: 3
personal thoughts: the slagga is a fantastic weapon for slagging enemies! the only weapon that comes close to it, is the grog nozzle from tina's assault on dragon keep DLC, and even then it is mostly because it heals so much! as a weapon for killing, it doesn't work very well. but for slagging, the slagga is one of the best slag weapons in the game!

next, we have the madhous!, an assault rifle!
boss drop: Mad Dog
mission required: Breaking the bank (found in lynchwood after you have recruited the slab king)
general location: Lynchwood
red text: It's a madhouse! A MADHOUSE!!!
special effect: high magazine and slightly increased damage. bullets have a random swaying pattern. once bullets hit a surface, they split into 2 bullets and bounce
rating: 1+
personal thoughts: the madhous (that isn't a typo, it is supposed to be spelled without the E) has a very cool effect, and can look very cool when used in certain locations. but using this thing is mostly a spray-and-pray. Gaige, the mechromancer can make some usage of it because of anarchy and "close enough", but other than that it is a flashy ammo waster.

next, we have the sledge's shotgun, a shotgun!
boss drop: Smash head
mission required: note for self-person

how to find mission: first complete cold shoulder given by scooter after sanctuary goes into the air. once Laney White is defeated, you can enter the secret tunnels, filled with rats and psychos. after going through the whole thing, proceed to the area before the bridge has collapsed and ends in the frozen lake and look for a goliath. he has a random chance to spawn.
once killed, the goliath should drop an Echo recorder, giving you the mission that leads to Smash head.

red text: The legend lives
special effect: fires a 2 shot burst every time you pull the trigger, with a long delay between each burst, regardless of if you aim down the sights or hipfire
rating: 2
personal thoughts: this shotgun is a repherence to Sledge and his shotgun, a boss from borderlands where his gun had the same mechanic. the long pause between shots can be rather long, but the burst leaves for a good, well, burst of damage up close. this is basicly what would happen if Dahl made shotguns.

finally, we have the badaboom, a rocket launcher!
boss drop: King mong

location and how to find: he is located in the eridium blight, a place you visit in the story. he is a random spawn, and is a giant black bullymong. look for him near the entrance to the arid boneyard. if he does not spawn, save and quit and come back until he does.

red text: multi-kill.
special effect: fires a cluster of 6 rockets at the cost of 1 ammo, rockets move slower than normal. reduced accuracy.
rating: 3
personal thoughts: the badaboom is one of the best rocket launchers in the game! firing 6 rockets at the cost of 1 ammo lets you deal a ton of damage. in addition, one of the spawns of king mong is right next to an entrance, so getting to him to farm it, isn't a pain. overall, a very good rocket launcher!

that was Bandit! moving over to Dahl!
dahl weapons
then, there are the dahl weapons.

first we have the hornet, a pistol!
boss drop: knuckle dragger
mission required: blindsided, story mission.
red text: Fear the swarm!
special effect: always corrosive element, fires a 6 shot burst with high elemental chance and a small explotion to each bullet.
rating: 2-
personal thoughts: the hornet is not a bad legendary, there are worse out there, but it doesn't do much more than a good burst. the corrosive element limits it to mostly hyperion loaders, though it takes care of them pretty well in normal and true vault hunter mode. however, in ultimate vault hunter mode, this thing takes forever to kill a regular gun loader, even with several critical hits.
TL;DR normal and true modes it is OK, ultimate it starts to fail.

next, we have the emperor, an SMG!
boss drop: assassin's Wot, Oney, Reeth and Rouf
mission required: assassinate the assassin's (first visit in sanctuary, on the bounty board)
red text: You know... for him.
special effect: increased magazine size, damage, fast accuracy recovery, reduced firerate, fires 6 round burst with low recoil.
rating: 1
personal thoughts: this is one of those legendaries that you should just ignore. the stat improvements are very small, and it is mostly just a stronger purple rated dahl SMG. not worth farming for. also, the boss drop means that all 4 assassin's can drop it, but the drop rate seems to be very low.

next, we have the veruc, an assault rifle!
boss drop: Mobley
mission required: the good, the bad and the mordecai (sanctuary bounty board after it goes up in the air)
red text: I want that rifle, daddy!
special effect: fires 3 bullets at the cost of 2 ammo, 1 middle bullet and 1 to each side. while zoomed, fires a 5 round burst where the spread of the bullets becomes tighter for each shot in the burst. this resets with each burst.
rating: 2
personal thoughts: the veruc is an above average assault rifle. when the final shot has all 3 bullets more or less hit the same spot, this can lead to some very good damage possibilities. the veruc is best used for close to medium range and against large enemies. it is not the best weapon in the game, but you might find reasons to farm for it. in ultimate vault hunter mode, it becomes rather useless, unfortunately.

finally, we have the pitchfork, a sniper rifle!
boss drop: Terramorphous the invincible!
mission required: You. Will. Die! (seriously) given by tannis after the main story is finished.
red text: Mainstream'd!
special effect: fires 5 shots in a line, forming a V pattern at the cost of 2 ammo.
rating: 1
personal thoughts: the pitchfork is one of the most situational sniper rifles in the game. when fighting regular enemies, it is usually a waste of ammo, and only large bosses can usually take all the shots from it. in addition, being a drop from that particular boss, the drop rate is very low, so good luck getting one from him.

that was dahl weapons, moving on to Hyperion!
Hyperion weapons
The vilain of the story sure makes some kickass weapons.

first we have the Logans gun, a pistol!
boss drop: Wilhelm
mission required: a train to catch (story mission)
red text: Gun, gunner!
special effect: always incendiary. bullets explode on impact and pass through enemies, sticking to walls before exploding again. absorb shields count projectiles from this weapon as rocket ammo.
rating: 2+
personal thoughts: as a weapon of destruction and killing enemies, the logans gun is not very impressive. about the same stats as a purple hyperion pistol. what makes this weapon good, however, is the rocket ammo absorb ability it has. paired with the sham, a legendary shield, you can practicly have infinite rocket ammo at your disposal by simply shooting at your feet with this weapon, which is what it is mostly used for in the first place.

next, we have the bitc h, an SMG (had to split up ♥♥♥♥♥ so you could see the name)
boss drop: the BNK3R
mission required: where angels fear to tread (story mission)
red text: yup. back.
special effect: increased accuracy, critical damage, magazine size and significantly increased max reverse recoil gain.
rating: 3
personal thoughts: in the hands of a Siren, this gun is a beast! though you do rely on critical hits for it to work the best, the bitc h is stil an amazing SMG, one of the best out there for killing enemies. the great firerate and accuracy makes it very easy to land constant headshots.

next, we have the conference call, a shotgun!
boss drop: the warrior
mission required: talon of god (story mission)
red text: let's just ping everyone all at once.
special effect: fires 5 projectiles, each projectile spawns 1-2 more bullets from the side, dealing significantly higher amounts of damage than the weapon card really says.
rating: 3
personal thoughts: the conference call is one of the best shotguns in borderlands 2, and before a patch nerfed it, it was one of, if not THE best weapon in borderlands 2 together with the Bee shield, a legendary shield. however, the conference call/ the CC is stil a very powerful shotgun with a great DPS track, though its damage per shot is not too easy to pinpoint. though the drop rate is rare, this is a legendary that is very much worth farming for.
in UVHM it starts to become less useful, and relies heavily on the bee shield or a shotgun build with Krieg or anarchy with Gaige to be succesfull.

next, we have the invader, a sniper rifle!
boss drop: saturn
mission required:Data mining (story mission)
red text: The executioner has arrived
special effect: fires a 5 shot burst while zoomed, significantly reduced damage and increased magazine size.
rating: 1
personal thoughts: the invader is a cool concept, combining Dahl and hyperions mechanics into a single weapon, but the depressingly low damage stat kills this gun. if it was higher, or maybe the critical hit damage got a buff, this weapon could be awesome. sadly, that is not the case. certainly, hitting all 5 shots in the burst on the critical spot will deal a good bit of damage, but a blue or higher rated Vladof sniper rifle can deal about the same damage in just a few shots. cool idea, but the damage is just too low.
also, saturn is a huge pain to kill most of the time when going with a normal playthrough, because he has a lot of health, no critical hit spots and deals a ton of damage, not to mention the low amount of revive targets in the area when you fight him.

finally, we have the longbow, a sniper rifle (yes, hyperion has 2 legendary sniper rifles. guess they realised how useless the invader is.)
boss drop: badass creeper
where to find and what to do: it is located in the caustic caverns, whom can be accessed after trying to enter where sanctuary used to be without fast traveling, after it has gone up in the air (don't feel bad if you did not understand that, I am not good at explaining this...). once you are in the caustic caverns, head over to the minecraft easter egg

click that link if you need a tutorial. the badass creeper spawns there.
red text: Ceci n'est pas une sniper rifle!
special effect: always incendiary, never spawns with a scope. fires slow moving minecraft arrows that fall in an arc. increased elemental effect chance, critical hit damage and base damage.
rating: 2
personal thoughts: the longbow is a cool sniper rifle. it looks awesome, the effect is cool and the damage is good. it can work with a Siren build and potentially a Zero can make use of it, but it doesn't do too well in UVHM. the biggest problem however, is farming this is a huge pain! it is a long distance from the entrance of the caustic caverns to the minecraft easteregg, together with all the threshers, crystalisks and varkids on the way. a Siren with "fleet fighter" skill and either a "rough rider" or "love thumper" shield could speed it up, but otherwise, this is one of the longest farming routes in the game!

that was hyperion. now over to Jakobs!
Jakobs weapons
Ah, Jakobs, the wood and metal powerhouse of bullets.

the first legendary is the maggie, a pistol/revolver!
boss drop: Mick Zaford
mission required: clan war: ending the war (starts at sanctuary bounty board after it goes up in the air)
NOTE: you must decide to kill the Zafords to be able to find this gun.
location of boss: the train station in the dust that leads to Lynchwood.
red text: Monty's wife don't take no guff.
special effect: shoots 6 bullets per trigger pull at the cost of 1 ammo (like a shotgun)
rating: 3
personal thoughts: the maggie is an amazing pistol/revolver! having the mechanics and ammo of a Jakobs pistol, but the damage potential of a shotgun is nothing to joke about. with a high firerate, great damage and large ammo pool, this is basicly a rapid fire shotgun with hundreds of ammo in reserve! the main problem is that it is pretty bad without a scope and for hipfiring, as the bullet spread is much wider and less predictable when that happens.

next, we have the hammerbuster, an assault rifle!
boss drop: McNally
mission required: The bane (found on a corpse outside of Moxxi's bar, around when the slab king has joined you)
red text: Gar! Gorarr! My dad's a scientist! GWARRRR!!!!
special effect: significantly higher bullet damage, surpassing purple revolvers in damage.
rating: 2+
personal thoughts: being an assault rifle, it does fine. it basicly is just an assault rifle with a large damage boost. not too worth farming for, but it does the job. the reload speed is stil slow and all the other traits of a Jakobs assault rifle, but it works.

next, we have the striker, a shotgun!
boss drop: old Slappy (located in the highlands-outwash)
mission required: Slap happy (given by sir Hammerlock after sanctuary rises to the air and enough side missions have been done for Hammerlock)
red text: Fandir? thirteen.
special effect: significantly increased critical hit damage, accuracy and weapon zoom.
rating: 1+
personal thoughts: the drop rate for the striker is not very high, and what you get is a shotgun with more or less only 1 good usage: a high close range burst from a zero using deception (action skill). the accuracy grants a great first shot, but the recoil of Jakobs weapons makes all shots after being as inaccurate as any other Jakobs weapon.
The added bonus of it only have about 6 pellets per shot grants it a low damage stat compared to other shotguns. not worth farming for.

finally, we have the skullmasher, a sniper rifle!
boss drop: son of mothrakk
mission required: wildlife exploitation preserve (completed and turned in) (story mission.)
loaction of son of mothrakk: where you find bloodwing again after completing the mission, in the wildlife exploitation preserve.
red text: Makes your brain hurt.
special effect: shoots 5 bullets at the cost of 1 ammo. notibly reduced damage per bullet.
rating: 1
personal thoughts: this is the same mechanic that the maggie has, but with a sniper rifle. if all bullets hit (especially with a critical hit), the damage potential is HUGE! however, you need to be close to medium ranged to be able to hit those shots, and most enemies have very tiny heads. a cool idea, but its mostly midgets and bosses that have weakpoints big enough for this thing to work well.
also, Son of Mothrakk is by far one of the worst bosses to farm, as you have go through the whole preserve to get to him ever. single. time! not worth it.

that was Jakobs, moving over to Maliwan!
Maliwan weapons
Maliwan: we're fancy as ♥♥♥♥

first we have the thunderball fist, a pistol!
boss drop: Captain Flynt
mission required: best minion ever (story mission)
red text: I can have such a thing?
special effect: always shock element. when bullets strike an enemy or surface, they produce an orb of shock that slowly rises to the air for a few seconds before detonating, dealing additional shock damage to enemies nearby of it.
rating: 2-
personal thoughts: the thunderball fist is a good weapon. the damage is great, and in the hands of a mechromancer it can deal tons of damage! the problem with it, however, is trying to farm for it. even with a shortcut, going from the spawn point to captain Flynt every time is very long, together with a lot of bandits and boom-bewm being in the way too. good weapon, but farming for it is a pain.

next we have the hellfire, an SMG!
boss drop: Scorch
mission required: Cult following: false idols (and digistruct peek on overpowered level 2 or above)
where to find: the Cult following missions are given by Lilith after she returns to sanctuary. Scorch is found in Frostburn canyon.
red text: we don't need no fire...
special effect: always incendiary element, increased elemental effect chance, damage over time damage, magazine size and increased splash damage.
rating: 3-
personal thoughts: the hellfire lives up to its name and status as a legendary. as you fight plenty of bandits and fleshy creatures, fire is a very handy element, so the stat bonuses the hellfire has makes it a lethal weapon! in the hands of a Hellborn Krieg, this weapon becomes even more lethal, and it is almost perfect for such a build and playstyle. the only downside is, again, the farm route for this weapon is a tadbit long, but much more straight forward than captain Flynt or the son of mothrakk.

next we have the Volcano, a sniper rifle!
boss drop: The Warrior
mission required: Talon of god (final story mission)
red text: Pele humbly requests a sacrifice, it it's not too much trouble.
special effect: Always incendiary element. 80% splash damage increase (other maliwan snipers have 50%), Can spread the fire to other nearby enemies from the first target.
rating: 2-
personal thoughts: it is good for spreading fire, and the damage boost is nice. but the Warrior has a relatively low drop rate after its first death, so farming for this thing can take a while. on the other hand, it is neet. one of the problems is that the Longbow, though worse to farm, is more or less a stronger version of this, minus the extra fire spreading ability.

next we have the Pyrophobia, a rocket launcher!
boss drop: incinerator Clayton
mission required: Cult following: the enkindling (starts from Lilith when she comes to Sanctuary)
Boss location: Frostburn Canyon
red text: It's actually a fairly rational fear in this case.
special effect: always incendiary element. rockets release small fire explotions while traveling through the air with roughly 1 second delay between each explotion
rating: 1+
personal thoughts: the pyrophobia has a very cool effect, and can work fine, but to get the most use of it you want to make the rocket shoot next to or above enemies to hit them with the explotion. the potential is good, but farming for this is also rather long, as it can take a few minutes just to get the Clayton, and that is if you manage to survive completely ignoring the enemies. basicly, there are better options out there.

finally, we have the norfleet, a rocket launcher!
boss drop: Vermivorous the invincible
mission required: main story completed in true vault hunter mode, can not be fought in normal mode or before true vault hunter mode story is complete. if it can be fought before the story is finished in UVHM is difficult to say.
red text: Blows up everything!!!
special effect: huge damage, fires 3 purple orb projectiles at the cost of 1 rocket ammo
rating: 3+
personal thoughts: the norfleet is arguably the strongest rocket launcher in the game. its damage is absolutely insane, and the 3 projectiles lets it cover a huge area, letting you clear enemies out in potentially just 1 clip. defeating this boss is very difficult, but if you can get a norfleet from him, you'll be set up for the strongest rocket launcher in the game!

that was Maliwan, moving on to Tediore!
Tediore weapons
Tediore: I almost forgot these guys existed.

first, we have the gunerang, a pistol!
boss drop: rakk man
mission required: cold shoulder (given by scooter after sanctuary goes into the air)
where to find: after defeating Laney white, go through the tunnels where she spawns from in the fridge. at the end, rakk man will spawn and fight you.
red text: Give it a burl.
special effect: when thrown, the gunerang will fly forward, then turn back and home in on the thrower (you). if it comes within a certain small rang of an enemy, it will home in on the enemy instead.
rating: 1
personal thoughs: with how long you have to go to even get to rakk man, and the fact that the gunerang isn't that great of a weapon in general, I'd say you should'nt bother to farm for it. though it is a cool weapon with an even cooler easteregg.

next, we have the babymaker, an SMG!
boss drop: Madame von bartlesby
mission required: you are cordially invited (given by Tiny Tina after you obtain her damsels for a train to catch)
red text: Who's a widdle gunny wunny!!!
special effect: when thrown, it will spawn a child (baby) weapon that also explodes, with the cry of a baby being possible to hear from the explotion.
rating: 2
personal thoughs: though the baby makers straight up stats are nothing out of the odrinary, the reload with the extra explotion does enable for some good AOE damage. if combined with a singularity grenade, you can throw an almost full mag at the group and deal a substantial amount of damage to them. though Bartlesby takes some time to farm with her location and that she has a substantial amount of health and damage, not to mention flying, can make farming for the baby maker a little difficult, so keep that in mind.

next, we have the Deliverance, a shotgun!
boss drop: Tumbaa
mission required: the wildlife exploitation preserve to be available.
where to find boss: Tumbaa is one of 2 unique bosses that can be found in the wildlife exploitation preserve, together with Pimon, so you will likely have to restart a few times before you can get him to spawn at all. Pimon and Tumbaa are located near the entrance to the creature slaughterdome and second set of ammo and health machines you can find on the map.

red text: Kiki got a shotgun
special effect: when thrown, the gun will fly and chase after enemies, firing at them whilst doing so.
rating: 2
personal thoughs: as Tumbaa is a random spawn, he can be a bit of a pain to farm (not to mention that he is a stalker with a large health and shield capacity, surrounded by other stalkers and skags), but the shotgun is ok. the effect it has is pretty neet, and could potentially be exploited with a slag version to apply slag to more enemies.

finally, we have the bunny, a rocket launcher!
boss drop: chubby enemies
how to find: chubbies are very rare enemies, and come in the form of skags, stalkers, varkids, spiderants, rakk and skeletons from Tina's DLC. the best way is to find places where these creatures spawn and look for a chubby. they are more or less available at any point of the game.
red text: Hippity Hoppity!
special effect: when reloaded, the Bunny will do a series of rapid small jumps in different directions until it hits an enemy or time runs out.
rating: 1
personal thoughs: the Bunny has a very funny effect, but an attempt at farming for the bunny is more or less a waste of time. as the bunny hopping is rather unpredictable (though more predictable than regular Tediore rocket reloads), it has very little of worth.

that was Tediore! moving over to Torgue.
Torgue weapons
Torgue. WE DEMAND CAPPITAL LETTERS AND EXLAMATION POINTS!!!!!

NOTE: all torgue legendary weapons and grenade mods can be obtained as items of the day in Torgue vending machines in mister torgues campaign of carnage DLC.

first, we have the unkempt harold, a pistol!
boss drop: savage lee
alternative: item of the day in Torgue vending machines in Torgues campaign of carnage DLC.
mission required: entered sanctuary for the first time (for savage lee to spawn)
where to find: Savage lee is a psycho that can be found near the marrowfields (where you find corporal reese during the story) in three horns - divide.

red text: Did I fire six shots, or only five? Three? Seven. Whatever.
special effect:when fired, bullets multiply and spread to the side the longer they are in the air, until uptil 7 projectiles are flying. projectiles stop spreading if they hit a surface before reaching 7. costs 3 ammo per shot fired.
rating: 3+
personal thoughs: the unkempt Harold is one of the most powerful weapons in the game. especially in the hands of a gunzerker, the unkempt Harolds damage potential is massive. get the "double penetrating" prefix on it (making it fire 2 bullets, resulting in 14 bullets when fully spread out) leaves for massive amounts of damage (at the cost of 6 ammo per shot fired).

then, we have the kerblaster, an assault rifle!
boss drop: midgemong
mission required: symbiosis (given by sir hammerlock after completing his first set of side missions while he is in Liars berg)
red text: Torgue got more BOOM!
special effect: consumes 4 ammo per shot. can not criticly hit. fires a rocket like projectile with massive explosive damage and increased explotion radius. once the projectile explodes, it will drop a grenade, which will explode after a few seconds, dealing additional damage.
rating: 2+
personal thoughs: the kerblaster has insane amounts of damage, and is obtained in normal or true vault hunter mode, you can have a very easy time for several levels. though it consumes a substantial amount of ammo per shot, its damage is very high. unfortunately, it starts to fade in UVHM, and is highly dependant on enemies being slagged before it can do any noticeable damage. midgemong can take a little time to reach, but the kerblaster doesn't seem to have a very low drop rate!

next, we have the ogre, an assault rifle!
DLC required: Tiny Tinas assault on dragon keep
boss drop: king of orcs
how to find boss: King of orcs is a miniboss in Tina's DLC, most commonly found in Murderlins temple in the final round
red text: ogres chew their food
special effect: increased splash damage, always spawns with the spitter barrel. has a random chance to gain a buff, increasing firerate, reload speed and make its bullets ricochet for a few seconds.
rating: 2
personal thoughs: as this is a DLC weapon (I just put it in here since it has the legendary quality), it is more limited than the other legendaries in this guide. however, the DPS and potential with the ogre is pretty strong. also the fact that king of orcs is a more or less guarenteed boss to fight in murderlins temple makes farming a little easier.

next, we have the flakker, a shotgun!
boss drop: the warrior
mission required: Talon of god
red text: flak the world
special effect: consumes 4 ammo per shot. very slow firerate and reload speed. increased damage. when fired, releases several explotions a short distance from where originally fired.
rating: 1-
personal thoughs: though the flakker is a great shotgun in the pre-sequel, here it pretty much sucks. as there are almost no enemies large enough to be hit by this, and you don't have very good ways of getting close enough to even hit them, this weapon is sustantially useless. a regular blue or purple (even green) torgue shotgun is likely a better choice. stay away from it.

lastly, we have the nukem, a rocket launcher!
boss drop: the black queen
where to find boss: in the dust behind Ellies garage where the spiderants will be, though you have to do some special and specific actions and go certain places to make the black queen spawn. I recommend you go to youtube for that one.
red text: name dropped
special effect: costs 2 ammo per shot fired. significantly increased damage. shoots a projectile that drops. releases a small mushroom cloud when it explodes. very slow reload speed.
rating: 2+
personal thoughs: the Nukem, though annoying to farm for, is one of the strongest rocket launchers in the game. with over 400 000 damage on level 50, you're almost guaranteed to get a second wind with this thing.

that was torgue, moving over to Vladof!
Vladof weapons
Vladof: the last weapons manufacturer before we move on to the shields!

first, we have the shreddifier, an assault rifle!
boss drop: seemingly no particular boss or enemy drop for this. best tip would be raid bosses and legendary loot midgets in ultimate vault hunter mode.
red text: speed kills
special effect: reduced damage, gains max firerate significantly faster, improved stability and huge amounts of firerate and magazine size.
rating: 2
personal thoughs: though the shreddifier has a rather low base damage, the firerate grants it an insane amount of DPS (damage per second) and the improved stability and low recoil lets you stay on target much better. obtaining one is a little tricky as it has no real boss that drops it, unfortunately.

next, we have the infinity, a pistol!
boss drop: doc mercy
mission required: medical mystery (given by dr. zed after you've helped scooter the first time in sanctuary and have completed Zed's first mission).
red text: it's closer than you think! (no it isn't)
special effect: 1 ammo in the clip. firing does not consume ammo. while firing, the bullet pattern forms the infinity symbol (a sideways 8).
rating: 1+
personal thoughs: the infinity has 3 main problems, granting it such a low rating. the first problem is how low of a drop rate it has on doc mercy. you can spend hours trying to get it. second is its average stats. firerate is around 8.0, damage is rather low as with most Vladof pistols and third, the pattern it makes with the infinity symbol while firing makes it almost impossible to kill anything at long range. truth be told, only Zero and potentially gaige can use the infinity well. it might not consume any ammo, but it takes a million years to kill most things (zero is very good and almost depending on the infinity for a strong pistol build, and gaige has the magical ability of anarchy to make the damage great). if you want one, I'd say you should ask someone to dupe it for you.

next, we have the lyuda and the white death, both of them are sniper rifles.

explaining them: the Lyuda and White death are the same sniper rifles. they are an easteregg, white death being the nickname of a famous finnish sniper during the winter war between finland and russia. Lyuda is about the female russian sniper Lyudmila Pavlichenko from world war 2. they were rephrenses to the console wars, White death was on PS3 and Lyuda was on xbox 360 and PC. a patch made PC and ps3 have the Lyuda, while white death is stil on xbox 360

boss drop: gettle
mission required: the good, the bad and the mordekai (found in sanctuary on the bounty board after sanctuary goes up into the air.
red text: man killed
special effect: after traveling a certain distance, the bullet fired will split into 3 bullets (1 additional bulet appears on each side of the original bullet). has a natural 120% increased critical hit damage.
rating: 3
personal thoughs: The Lyuda (just going to call it that from now) is an above average sniper rifle. though it mostly only has the 120% critical hit damage to make it better than a purple rated Vladof sniper rifle, the 3 shot spread is also pretty handy. with the low recoil and good firerate, the damage potential is great.

lastly, we have the mongol, a rocket launcher!
boss drop: Dukino's mom
mission required: demon hunter (after finishing all the sidemissions for Dukino the skag in lynchwood, the demon hunter mission becomes available on the sanctuary bounty board.
red text: the horde will always return!
special effect: once fired, the rocket releases multiple smaller rockets at random during its flight.
rating: 1
personal thoughs: the main reason I give this a 1 is 2 reasons. firstly, the drop rate for the mongol seems to be fairly low, and dukino's mom is a very powerful enemy that reflects bullets. second, the Mongol isn't even that great of a rocket launcher with its effect. could be useful perhaps, but not optimal. better choices out there.

That was Vladof weapons and the last legendary guns! time to move over to the shields!
Legendary shields part 1
Since pages have a limited space, I had to split this in 2 parts.

First we have the black hole, a nova shield.
boss drop: Foreman Jasper
mission required: Hell hath no fury! (Found in sanctuary after teaming up with the slab king. Obtained from Moxxi.)
red text: You are the center of the universe.
special effect: Always shock elemental, increased damage and range on the nova. Creates a singularity effect on the player before releasing every nova.
rating: 3
personal thoughs: The black hole is a very strong shield. It is mostly good for gaige due to her "blood soaked shield" skill (get up to 100% of shields for 5% health upon killing an enemy), causing her to constantly create novas. For other vault hunters, it is stil a very good shield! The singularity effect is very useful to get second winds, aswell as getting enemies out of cover, or simply just give some free crowd control. The drop rate is not nearly as low as other legendaries, which is great!

Next we have The Bee, an amp shield.
boss drop: hunter hellquist (can also drop from treants in tiny tina DLC)
mission required: This just in (given from mordekai after getting to the badlands. This is fairly late in the game!)
red text: Float like a butterfly...
special effect: Amp costs 0 shield capacity, increased recharge delay (5-7 seconds), increased recharge rate, can never come in hyperion parts
rating: 3
personal thoughs: The bee is not a great shield in regular combat. Due to the small capacity and very long recharge delay, you're in trouble the moment you take damage. Zero, Maya and Axton are the main vault hunters that make the best/need the bee towards UVHM. The main use for this shield, however, is boss farming because of its long recharge delay. Stil, the damage bonus you get from the Bee is amazing while its at full. Getting skills or relics improving recharge delay and regenerate shield is highly recommended while using this shield.
Salvador and krieg are more about their health than their shield anyway, plus krieg likes melee a lot, and gaige can make good use of the bee, though she has other options.

Next, we have the Cradle, a booster shield.
boss drop: Henry
mission required: Best mothers day ever
How to find mission: After making the fast travel in overlook after sanctuary goes into the air, there is a side mission on the bounty board there called "stalker of stalkers". Complete the mission and turn it in. Now, an echo log can drop from any random stalker you kill, containing the "best mothers day ever" mission.
red text: ...To the grave.
special effect: When depleted, the shield throws itself like a booster and blows up, dealing some damage. reduced capacity, increased recharge rate.
rating: 1
personal thoughs: The recharge delay can be a little lengthy, but the recharge is good. Unfortunately, the cradle doesn't deal a lot of damage (around the same as a single bullet from a ~blue SMG). Not worth farming or using mostly.

Next, we have The fabled tortoise, a turtle shield
Boss drop: Blue
Mission required: Safe and sound (given by marcus after sanctuary goes up into the air.
Red text: Win by a hare.
Special effect: Reduced movement speed while shield has 1+ capacity left, massively increased shield capacity, greatly reduced max health. Movement speed increased while shield is depleted.
Rating: 3-
Personal thoughts: The fabled tortoise is one of few shields capable of surviving multiple attacks in UVHM, and the path to find and farm blue isn't very long or hard, though the shield itself might be tricky. Some people tend to use a lot level fabled tortoise together with a higher leveled sniper class mod to have a constantly depleted shield and large amount of movement speed.
Unfortunately, it becomes tricky to use this shield on over powered levels, due to the health lost exceeding yours, you have 0 health and for some reason die in a single hit from anything (because screw logic). A health class mod can usually fix this.
Legendary shields part 2
Next, we have the flame of the firehawk, a nova shield.
Drop: Mission reward from cult following: The enkindling
Mission required: the cult following quest series is given by lilith in sanctuary after completing frostburn canyone. The final mission in this series is what gives you the shield as the reward.
Red text: From the ashes she will rise.
Special effect: Always incendiary elemental. Releases constant nova (roughly every 1 second) when shield becomes depleted and stays at 0. any recharge of the shield results in the novas stopping, requiring full shield recovery before the novas can continue.
Rating: 3
Personal thoughts: The flame of the firehawk (FoF) is arguably the easiest legendary to obtain, as it is a guaranteed quest reward! The constant novas are very powerful and deal a large amount of damage, making it an excelent choice for Krieg using a hellborn build. Otherwise, it is a very strong shield and easy to obtain, as the quests combined might only take around ~20 minutes to complete.

Next, we have the impaler, a spike shield.
Boss drop: The warrior
Mission required: The talon of god (final story mission)
Red text: Vlad would be proud.
Special effect: Always corrosive elemental. Launches corrosive spikes at attackers from a distance, and gives corrosive spike damage to melee attackers.
Rating: 2
Personal thoughts: Though not overly weak, and certainly useful against armored enemies, the impaler is an OK shield. It certainly is useful against hyperion robots and armored targets, but fleshed enemies and shields take ~75% reduced damage from corrosive attacks in TVHM and UVHM, which kinda sucks...

Next, we have The hide of Terramorphous
Boss drop: Terramorphous the invincible
Mission required: You. Will. Die. (Seriously) (given by Tannis after the final story mission is completed.
Red text: ...His hide turned the mightiest tame...
Special effect: Always incendiary elemental. Has the effects of spike, nova and roid shields. Very high roid damage
Rating: 3
Personal thoughts: This shield is very good! It has the highest nova damage of any nova shield in the game, and the nova and spike effects are just the icing on the cake. Though not very viable for a melee zero, Krieg takes great love for it, since the nova it makes can set him on fire and give him those bonuses. Drop rate is not the greatest, unfortunately.

Next, we have The neogenetaor, an adaptive shield.
Boss drop: Spycho
Mission required: Monster mash (part 3). (Given by Dr. Zed after "where angels fear to tread" is completed. Part 1 and 2 must be completed first.
Red text: For an impenetrable shield stand inside yourself.
Special effect: Reduced shield capacity. Greatly increased elemental resistance and bonus health. Grants health regeneration while holding 1+ shield capacity, increasing when shield is low.
Rating: 2+
Personal thoughts: The neogenator is a very good shield for Maya, Salvador and Krieg.

Next, we have The sham, an absorb shield.
Boss drop: BNK-3R
Mission required: Where angels fear to tread (story mission)
Red text: Wow, I CAN do this all day.
Special effect: Extremely high bullet absorb chance (77-94%), reduced shield capacity and recharge delay.
Rating: 3+
Personal thoughts: Though farming for this can take a long time, the sham is one of the best shields in the game, leaving you almost invulnerable to gun based enemies. The only things you need to worry about, is melee attackers (Psychos, animals etc.), explosives and elemental DoT. If you want to farm for this, use Zero with bore and aim for a sweet spot. It makes the bullets go through its multiple lairs, triggering bore and letting you nearly 1 shot the BNK-3R.

Next, we have the transformer, an absorb shield
Boss drop: Pimon
Mission required: wildlife exploitation preserve (story mission) (He has a random chance to spawn nearby the entrance to the creature slaughter dome, before the second available ammo and healing shops on the map.)
Red text: There's more than your eye can see.
Special effect: higher than normal absorb chance (~30%), immunity to shock damage. Recharges shields when taking shock damage.
Rating: 2
Personal thoughts: It is useful against bosses with a lot of shock damage (Jackenstein, mostly) and can be used in a build with maya using a shock slow hand to create a lot of shock novas. Kinda cool and certainly useful.

Finally, we have The whisky tango foxtrot, a booster shield.
Boss drop: Chubby enemies

Where to find: Rare badass enemies, can come in the form of skag, rakk, spider ant, stalker, varkid and chubby skeleton from Tinas DLC) (look up a guide on youtube to farm them, they seem to have higher chances in UVHM, at least at level 72)
Red text: Situation normal...
Special effect: When dropping boosters, they are IED boosters instead of shield boosters, releasing 3 shock grenades that damage enemies and allies.
Rating: 1
Personal thoughts: This shield isn't that great. It has a funny name, being militarry code for WTF, but the fact that the boosters hurt you, well, hurts it, and you're likely much better off using a black hole or flame of the firehawk if you need an offensive shield.

That was all the shields! Next, we have the grenade mods.
Legendary grenade mods
First, we have The bonus package, a MIRV grenade.
Boss drop: Boom and bewm
Mission required: Best minion ever (story mission)
Red text: 2x more awesome, bonus extreme!
Special effect: Increased damage. When child grenades explode, each will then release another child grenade each.
Rating: 3-
Personal thoughts: The bonus package (BP) is one of the most powerful explosive grenades, and can cover a large area with the grenades. Very good in normal and true vault hunter mode, but starts falling off a little in UVHM, even with krieg. Stil a good AOE grenade!

Next, we have the bouncing bonny, a bouncing betty grenade.
Boss drop: The bonny does not have any specific boss drop. Best bet is farming raid bosses (Pyro pete) or legendary loot midgets (UVHM) using doctors orders.
Red text: Your sister is such a ♥♥♥♥♥.
Special effect: Increased damage, blast radius and reduced fuse time. While is bounces and shoots bullets as any other bouncing betty, it also releases child grenades until it runs out.
Rating: 3
Personal thoughts: The bouncing bonny is by far one of the best slag grenades in the game. It can come in other elements, but it doesn't do a whole lot of damage in UVHM. However, spreading slag is it very good for! Be careful when using it, the child grenades can and will hurt you, aswell as apply its status effect to you.

Next, we have The chain lightning, a lightning bolt grenade.
Boss drop: Badass sorcerers
DLC required: Tiny tina's assault on dragon keep DLC
Red text: Don't pay it back, pay it forward.
Special effect: Reduced damage compared to lightning bolt, always shock elemental. When the bolt has been thrown, it will target and chain towards the next enemy, capable of hitting multiple enemies. Regenerates grenade ammo.
Rating: 2+
Personal thoughts: The chain lightning is very useful, and pretty sweet in the hands of a mechromancer. Its damage is good, the ammo regen is nice and the multi target effect is useful. Unfortunately, its damage isn't as good as other grenades, and farming it can be a little frustrating, since badass sorcerers are powerful enemies and can take a while to find.

Next, we have The fastball, a lobbed grenade.
Boss drop: None recorded. Best strategy is to farm raid bosses (Pyro pete) or legendary loot midgets using doctors orders.
Red text: Forget the curveball Ricky, give them the heater.
Special effect: Always lobbed type, reduced blast radius and fuse time, very high damage and travel speed. Changed physics and handeling, making it behave similar to a baseball. Comes with all elements.
Rating: 3-
Personal thoughts: Though not that useful for other vault hunters than krieg, the fastball has one of the highest detonation damage of any grenade (not counting DoT or MIRV). If krieg gets his hands on an explosive version, he can make a build where you pretty much throw fastballs at enemies and watch them explode from them. Obtaining one, unfortunately, is not that easy, since it has no specific boss that it drops from.
I recommend you ask for someone to dupe or trade one to you, if all else fails.

Next, we have The firebee, a AOE grenade.
Boss drop: No specific drop. Farming raid bosses (Pyro pete), legendary loot midgets with doctors orders or asking for a dupe or trade from the community (trade sub forum) is your best options.
Red text: Bees are coming!
Special effect: Always incendiary, creates an AOE of spitting fire around it. Additionally releases homing small incendiary projectiles from the base of the grenade until the effect wares off.
Rating: 3
Personal thoughts: The firebee is arguably the strongest incendiary grenade mod in the game, capable of covering large areas and a lot of enemies with fire. Very powerful with krieg, strong with everyone else.

Next, we have the firestorm, a fireball grenade.
Boss drop: Badass sorcerers
DLC required: Tiny tinas assault on dragon keep.
Red text: What manner of man are you that can summong fire without flint or tinder?
Special effect: Always incendiary, regenerates grenade ammo. Shoots a fireball that explodes on impact. Once the fireball explodes, a rain of 4 additional fireballs rain down, dealing additional damage.
Rating: 2-
Personal thoughts: Though better than regular fireballs, the firestorm is not as good as the chain lightning because A: It has a slow travel speed while the chain lightning is instant, and B: Fire is highly resisted by shields and armor, whom are fairly common in UVHM. Stil a fun grenade mod, but the firebee is much better.

Next, we have the leech, a transufsion grenade.
Boss drop: The warrior
Mission required: The talon of god (Final story mission)
Red text: A skilful leech is better far, than half a hundred men of war.
Special effect: Decreased damage and blast radius. All damage dealt by the grenade heals teammates and the user, together with the homing health bombs after its duration finishes.
Rating: 3
Personal thoughts: The leech can come in all elements (Shock might be the best due to its nutral damage multiplier), and can save your life from time to time. Pair it with a rubi and you can see your healthbar shoot up! Though its damage is reduced, it is stil strong. However, you should remember that it is the healing that is the important part. If you have a grog nozzle, however, and you use it, the leech becomes almost pointless, as any grenade at the same level will be able to heal for the same, if not more, while having more damage.

Next, we have The nasty surprise, a MIRV grenade.
Boss drop: Vermivorous the invincible
Mission required: True vault hunter mode completed.
Red text: Supplies!
Special effect: Always longbow travel effect. Rests on the ground for a while, dropping up to 4 child grenades on enemies walking over it.
Rating: 2-
Personal thoughts: I have never gotten much use of it, though I can see it being a little useful if used right. Not a personal favorite and farming for it isn't very fun with that boss (getting him to spawn, then trying to kill him and finally having about 8 legendaries and a bunch of skins that he can drop...), but if you like it, good for you!

Next we have The rolling thunder, a MIRV grenade.
Boss drop: Wilhelm
Mission required: A train to catch (Story mission)
Red text: The thunder shall bring forth the pain!
Special effect: Always rubberized (Bounces and ricochét's off of walls) effect, reduced arc. Each bounce releases an explotion.
Rating: 1
Personal thoughts: Truth be told, I see little point in farming for this thing. The effect it has will rarely deal any significant damage since it detonates when contacting with an enemy. You're better off with the bonus package.

next, we have the storm front, an AOE grenade.
Boss drop: Lee, Mike, Dan or Ralph.
Mission required: Splinter group (Given by tannis after you have rescued Roland from the bloodshots).
Red text: Sometimes lightning does strike twise.
Special effect: Releases several child grenades traveling in an arc, sticking to any surface they find, shocking nearby enemies, effectively doubling its range.
Rating: 3
Personal thoughts: The storm front is one of the best shock grenades out there. Great damage, very large range because of the child grenades and you farm 4 bosses whom all have a chance to drop it! Very good for all vault hunters!

Lastly, we have the quasar, a singularity grenade.
Boss drop: Ultimate badass varkids
Mission required: A train to catch (Story mission)
Red text: E=mc^(OMG)/wtf
Special effect: Always shock elemental. Shocks nearby enemies like a TESLA grenade before exploding. Longer delay before exploding.
Rating: 3-
Personal thoughts: Its good. Only legendary singularity grenade. kinda hard to farm but good.
Legendary slayer class mods
Due to space issues, I had to shorten it a little. L = left, M = middle and R = right for where the skills are found.

The slayer of terramorphous (SOT) class mods are dropped from terramorphous, the raid boss of the base game. You can fight him by taking the mission you. will. die. (seriously) from Tannis after completing the main story quest. Note that he is automaticly at level 52, so you shouldn't fight him until you are level 50. In UVHM, he will be 2 levels above whichever player has the highest level in the party (If you're level 72, he will be 74).

The SOT class mods have a very high chance of dropping when he is defeated. They all grant increased incendiary damage and elemental effect, aswell as increased maximum health. The maximum bonuses to skills is 4, obtained at level 40-50. Beyond that, all you get is more health, incendiary damage and effect chance.

Since you can only get 4 points at most from the SOT, I'll tell you how many bonuses you can get on the skils at 9 points (5 from spending, 4 from the class mod).

As for what skills you get bonuses for, here is the list.

For Axton, you get:
sentry (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases bullet count per burst for the sentry turret by 1 and increases duration by 2 seconds per point. 9 bullet more per burst and 18 seconds longer duration with 9 points.

Read (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases reload speed with all weapons by 8% per point spent. 72% with 9 points in it.

Impact (tier 1 M skill tree): Increases gun damage by 4% and melee damage by 3% per point. 36% gun damage and 27% melee damage with 9 points.

Expertise (tier 1 M skill tree): Increases weapon swap speed by 14%, Aim speed by 14% and movement speed while aiming by 7% per skill point spent. 126% swap speed, 126% aim speed and 63% more movement speed while aiming at 9 points.

Healthy (tier 1 R skill tree): Increases maximum health by 6% per level. 54% with 9 points.

For Maya, here is the list of skills.
Ward (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases shield capacity by 5% and reduces shield recharge delay by 8% per point spent. 45% more shield capacity and 72% less recharge delay with 9 points.

Accelerate (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases gun damage by 3% and bullet speed by 4% per skill point spent. 27% more gun damage and 36% more bullet speed at 9 points.

Minds eye (tier 1 M skill tree): Increases critical hit by 5% and melee damage by 6% per skill point spent. 45% More critical hit damage and 54% more melee damage at 9 points.

Sweet release (tier 1 M skill tree): Releases 1 health orb healing 15% health when an enemy is killed while phaselocked with 1 skill point. Releases 9 orbs, each healing 15% health with 9 skill points spent.

Flicker (tier 1 R skill tree): Increases elemental status effects with all elements by 6% per skill point spent. 54% with 9 skill points spent.

NOTE that it is not straight up 54% added to the chance, but instead is a chance of the chance. if it has 20% elemental chance, and I have a skill giving me 50%, it does not become 70%, but instead 50% of 20%, AKA 30% elemental chance.

For Salvador, here is the list of skills.
Locked and loaded (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases fire rate with all weapon types by 5% per skill point spent after reloading a weapon for a few seconds. 45% more firerate with 9 skill points.

Quick draw (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases weapon swap speed by 7% and critical hit damage by 2% per skill point spent. 63% swap speed and 18% critical hit damage with 9 points.

Filled to the brim (tier 1 M skill tree): Increases magazine size by 5% and ammo carrying capacity for all weapon type by 3% per skill point spent. 45% more magazine and 27% more ammo to all weapons with 9 skill points.

Hard to kill (Tier 1 R skill tree): Increases maximum health by 4% and health regeneration to 0,1% of maximum health per skill point spent. 36% more health and regenerate 0,9% maximum health constantly with 9 skill points.

Incite (tier 1 R skill tree): Increases movement speed by 6% and reload speed by 25% when taking damage for a few seconds per skill point spent. 54% more movement speed and 45% reload speed when taking damage at 9 points.

Optics (tier 1 L skill tree): Increases zoom when aiming with all weapons by 3% and reduces aim disruption with sniper rifles when taking damage (less flinching) by 12% per skill point spent. 27% zoom and 108% disruption at 9 points.

Fast hands (tier 1 M skill tree): Increases reload speed by 5% and weapon swap speed by 10% per skill point spent. 45% reload speed and 90% weapon swap speed at 9 points.

Counter strike (tier 1 M skill tree): When getting hit, you have a chance to make your next melee attack deal 50% more melee damage per skill point spent. 450% melee damage at 9 points.

Iron hand (tier 1 R skill tree): Increases maximum health by 3% and melee damage by 3% per skill point spent. 27% more health and 27% more melee damage at 9 points.

For Gaige, here is the list of skills.
Made of sterner stuff (tier 4 L skill tree): grants 1% damage resistance to Gaige and deathtrap and 3% more melee damage to deathtrap per skill point spent. 9% damage resistance and 27% melee damage at 9 points.

Fancy mathematics (Tier 2 L skill tree): Reduces shield recharge delay by up to 14% and increases shield recharge rate by up to 12% per skill point spent depending on how low your health is. Up to 126% reduced recharge delay (Constant regen?) and increases shield reacharge rate by up to 108% when gaige has little to no health at 9 points. No bonuses when at max health.

Interspersed outburst (tier 5 M skill tree): When not shooting an enemy, it grants stacks up to 5, giving up to a 2% chance per skill point to slag the next enemy you shoot. 18% at 9 points.

Evil enchantres (tier 3 M skill tree): Killing an enemy increases all status effect damage (DoT) by 6% per skill point spent. 54% at 9 points.

Phreshrunk cyberpunk (tier 2 R skill tree): Increases max anarchy stacks by 50 per skill point spent. increases by 450 at 9 points, maxing anarchy stacks at 600. Only class mod that can do this.

For Krieg, here is the list of skills.
Blood trance (tier 4 L skill tree): Increases duration of buzz axe rampage by 0,05 seconds per bloodlust stack, per point spent (5 more seconds with 100 bloodlust stacks). Increased to 0,45 seconds per bloodlust stacks at 9 skill points (45 more seconds with 100 bloodlust stacks).

Trhill of the kill (tier 3 M skill tree): Heals for 50% of overkill damage (Explanation at the bottom of the page) when killing an enemy at 1 skill point, increasing by 10% per skill point after. 130% healing at 9 points.

Strip the flesh (tier 3 M skill tree): Increases explosive damage by 3% and doubles it while in fight for your life per skill point spent. 27% explosive damage normally and 54% when in fight for your life at 9 points.

Flame flare (tier 4 R skill tree): Increases burn duration on you by 20% and gives enemies a 15% chance to re-ignite per skill point. 180% burn duration and 135% chance to re-ignite at 9 points.
Overkill explained
If an enemy has 100HP left, and I kill him with a 1000 damage attack, the overkill damage will be 900. If I heal for 50% overkill damage, I will heal 450 HP from that kill.
Axtons legendary class mods
First, we have Legendary soldier. It is a drop from Vermivorous the invincible , but can be obtained from other sources. Loot midgets, raid bosses and treasure rooms (end of campaign DLC rewards) are good place to look for it.

This is a jack of all trades class mod, not much focus, but its stil good.

Red text: It's like christmas

Next, we have Legendary Engineer. The best way to obtain this class mod (aswell as the other 2) is by farming chubby/tubby enemies. A guide on youtube should help you with your farming. Note that you have to own the ultimate vault hunter pack 2 (digistruct peak and 11 more levels) to be able to use these. They start dropping at level 61+.

This class mod is focused using your sabre turret and boosting yourself and your turret.

The only stat gained is a very high amount of cooldown rate.
Red text: Engineered for perfection

Next we have Legendary pointman. As legendary engineer, it is dropped from chubby enemies at level 61+. This class mod is focused heavily on survival skills, mostly healing and shield bonuses.

Stats gained are increased base health (flat bonus) And health regeneration (flat bonus).
Red text: Point taken.
Skills gained include:

Able (tier 3 middle skill tree): Damaging an enemy regenerates 0,4% max health per second for 3 seconds per point. 4% per second at 10 points.

Lastly, we have legendary ranger. It is obtainable from chubbies at level 61+.

This class mod focuses on balancing between offense and defense on axton, aswell as granting the shield bonuses to the whole party.

Quick charge (tier 3 right skill tree): Killing an enemy regenerates 1% of your shield per second for a few seconds per point spent. 10% per second at 10 points.
Maya's legendary class mods
First, we have Legendary siren. This class mod is best obtained from Vermivorous the invincible , raid bosses from DLC, loot midgets and end treasure rooms from DLC.
