Deep in Dark Reef, Slark searched for any and every tool he can find to aid his escape, and he found an ancient artifact. Sealed inside the artifact is the very soul of the Winter Goddess.

Longing to escape the fate of being trapped in an object, the Goddess offered a deal with Slark; If Slark offers his body as a vessel for the soul of the Goddess, he will gain the unfathomable power of winter itself. Slark accepted without hesitation, as he sees this as the perfect chance to escape Dark Reef.

And so, with the power of the Winter Goddess within him, Slark wastes no time in escaping the dreaded Dark Reef, freezing anyone who stands in his way. Slark then disappears into the world, never to be seen again.
