It adds a new roman faction, placed with one settlement at the north of britannia. You play as Magnus Maximus, the last true roman fighting off enemies on all sides. You are the underdog that can rise up and reclaim the roman empire, shape it to your liking.

As you conquer lands, the name of your faction will change. Reclaim all of the roman lands and become the Roman Empire!

Place above Nova Attila in the Load order!


Faction Description:
Britannia stands abandoned at the Empire’s fringe, its garrisons scattered and its governors powerless. For decades, the legions have held back the painted tribes of the north and the raiders from the sea, but Rome’s will — and its gold — no longer reach these shores. From Mediolanum comes the Emperor’s command: withdraw, leave the province to its fate.

To Magnus Maximus, descendant of a usurper and commander of the last true Roman force in Britannia, this is betrayal. Why should the blood of Rome be shed for an Empire that will not defend its own?

Standing before Hadrian’s Wall, with enemies pressing on every side, he vows to seize destiny for himself. From these forsaken lands, a new dominion will rise. Britannia will be tamed, the tribes broken, and the legions will march south to Gaul.

Rome may call him traitor — history will call him Emperor.
