Junji Ito Yuuko (Slug Girl)

A high school student named Yuko undergoes a horrifying transformation, her tongue becoming a giant slug after she was traumatized by classmates teasing her with slugs. As the slug grows and protrudes from her mouth, her speech becomes unintelligible, leading to her social isolation and withdrawal from school. Her parents attempt to kill the monstrous slug with salt, resulting in Yuko's death, but her body shrivels and her head, still attached to the slug, remains.
