Description
Adds the Erie Canal as a wonder to the game. This wonder provides +4 gold and +3 production. It grants an additional available trade route along with +20% growth in all cities. City must be built next to a river.

Feel free to leave any suggestions in regards to other mods you would like to see or bug/balancing issues. Don't forget to check out my other mods, including the Yellowstone National Park wonder and the Sutter's Mill wonder.

This mod requires Brave New World.

@Danny Its a Wonder in the BNW stage of the game. It looks pretty par for the corse to me.

I think it adds too many bonusses.
+2 to both production and gold would be fine.
The extra trade route is OP, unless it's the only bonus.

+20% growth...
This has always been one of my least favorite things about Civ 5 specifically. There is no specificity as to whether that mean +20% to total food, or to excess food. The majority of bonuses you find in the game are to excess food, the only 2 that aren't, and are to total food, are the Temple of Artemis, and the Aztec UB The Floating gardens, that's why those are so powerful, so if this is to total food, it's ridiculously OP, if it's to excess food, then it's fine, great job!

at the time when it was built, the erie canal was a marvel of engineering and was one of the things that Buffalo the big deal it was (for 10 or so years in the 1800's anyways), and made it possible for hydro electric power in the eastern USA. It may be crap now, but in its day, it was a huge deal.

I live 2 miles from this in Rochester NY. It's a crappy canal filled with shopping carts and well probably dead bodies. It should have a unhealthy benefit for building it.

It seems really OP to me. I think the 20% growth should be more like 10% and only for cities along the same river. Although great job!
