MAORI (TE ATAIRANGIKAAHU)

Unique Trait: Kōhanga Reo
Earn Great Writer Points from expanding borders. Each Great Work of Writing Building filled in all cities contributes a city's Culture and Food toward Science and Faith when a new Citizen is born.

Unique Unit: Kaumātua
The Kaumatua replaces the Great Writer for the Maori under Te Atairangikaahu When a Kaumatua is expended, it hurries the Production progress of any available Great Work Buildings, even if they are not currently being constructed. If no such Buildings are available, the Kaumatua starts a 'We Love the King Day' instead. In addition, the Kaumatua grants a burst of Great Writer Points for the city based on 25% of the amount needed for your next Great Writer. Expending Kaumatua in other cities that are furthest from spawning a new Kaumatua will maximize the amount of Great Writer Points gained.

Unique Building: Kura
The Kura replaces the Public School for the Maori under Te Atairangikaahu. Like the Public School, the Kura increases a city's Science output. In addition, it increases the amount of Food that carries over after a new Citizen is born for each Great Work of Writing in this city. It also has a slot for a Great Work of Writing of its own.
