Realistic Ageing

Description
Citizen age one year per in-game year (instead of the standard 5). Some other adjustments were made to parameters for citizens.

Full list of changes:

Age for coming of age: 12
Age range for marriage: 13-35
Age range for having children: 15-35
Age for finishing school: 15-18 (varies based on happiness and distance from school)
Age range for a natural death: 35-85
Reduced frequency of births to be appropriate for the changes
Greatly increased the amount of happiness needed for citizens to be happy to be more similar to health (I think the vanilla settings are bugged)
Adjusted livestock breeding to match the changes to humans

Update 1:
Some balancing of livestock: reproduction is less random and faster, sheep produce less wool to balance against cattle
Nomads arrive on average every 6 years instead of every 4 years, to adjust for the slower gameplay

Note: The randomly generated starting families don't follow the rules about ages (so they can spawn as 16 year old parents with 10 year old kids) and unfortunately there's no way to change that. Once created, they do age like everyone else.

If you want the different age ranges, but also like the vanilla timescale, use this mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=354443642

Nah, I haven't paid any attention to this 10 year old mod and I definitely don't have the files locally anymore, so I'd just have to do the same thing that everyone can do - get them from the workshop folder.

@vflower -- mod is definitely still working; I use it in a graduate-level course assignment (much to the chagrin of my students). Have you considered putting the modkit files on github?

Then I'll have to test it with no other mods and only add one in at a time. Thanks for letting me know. Once I find out if this mod is broken, or if another one is actually breaking this mod. Then I'll go from there and deal with it.

No chance, I wouldn't know how to fix it.
If I remember correctly, this mod just edits some numbers in a file and Banished was very limited in how much you could mod (otherwise I would have done more), so considering those numbers worked for years, I don't know what would break it.

Any possibility of fixing it? Cause I do like this mod. Sucks it no longer works for me. I'm hoping it's not another mod that's breaking it. It's not like I'm using a new mod either which is odd. All the mods I'm using are the same ones I've been using for years. So IDK why this one breaks now.

It's a mod I made almost 10 years ago and I haven't played the game for almost as many years, so yeah, it may be broken by now? No idea. It has 16000 subscribers so in case it's still working for some people, I'm not going to take it down.

Hello there. I'm currently plaing the game with your mod, and NONE of the children are growing up AT ALL. It's been close to 12 years since the first birth and all of the children I started with have grown up, but none of the ones that where born. Because of this bug my playthrough is dead. This mod is bugged, might wanna check this out.

I am going to keep deleting these long comments that try to argue about how early women had children throughout history or whatever.
This is just a mod for a game. Comments should be related to the mod.

I've posted it in my guide {LINK REMOVED}. Thanks for the great mod.

Not sure, I haven't touched this game in 6 years. It depends on what files other mods modify, if they don't include the same files that this mod uses, then they should be compatible.
