Welcome to THE WORLD!

A dream project I've wanted to do for a while. It's a very simple wallpaper based on the the original quadrilogy of .hack// games from the 2000s, starting with .hack//Infection and ending with .hack//Quarantine. You access THE WORLD through your in-game PC running on ALTIMIT OS!

The goal was super simple: Recreate the look and feel while updating all the assets to HD! The ALTIMIT OS and animated vector logos were recreated by me, while the background is an upscaled version of designs originally created by Akarui-Japan and Meganezuki!

I did add one thing for fun: The usual loading bars beneath the ALTIMIT OS logo are now an audio visualizer!


-If you want to change the color of the background, just head into Wallpaper Engine and under the wallpaper's properties, edit it with "Hue shift"!
-If you want to mute the music, just set the volume in the properties to 0. The visualizer will still capture your background audio and work!
-If you want the visualizer to stop working altogether, uncheck the box that says, "Audio recording"!

Assets are all in HD, but compressed using DXT5 to save on VRAM! Enjoy!
