Apry's SilkRoad Map (Real Starting Positions, Built-in Custom Start Points)

The Silk Road map is an expansion of the previous Central Asia map, designed to showcase the core sections of the ancient trade and cultural exchange routes that stretched from China in the East to the Aegean Sea in the West. It includes major routes such as the Northern Fur Road, the Central Silk Road, the Southern Maritime Silk Road, and other significant passages.

Within the map's scope, major powers from the Chinese dynasties, steppe nomads, Silk Road city-states, the Persian Empire, and the Eastern Mediterranean play crucial roles, while factions from Southeast Asia, India, Arabia, Japan-Korea, and Eastern Europe also take part.

The map currently features Real Starting Positions for civilizations (TSL) as well as built-in custom start points.

To enhance gameplay experience, it is recommended to manually assign AI or players to key starting locations such as: Constantinople, Kiev or Moscow, Tehran, Urgench, Delhi, Karakorum, and Chang'an.

This map is now fully compatible with Phantagonist’s Silk Road City States Pack , featuring accurate historical positions.
