Eagle VTOL SARQRV

Description
BACKGROUND
I love to design new functional vehicles. After searching the workshop and not finding what I wanted I decided to design this VTOL SAR QRV (Vertical Take Off and Landing, Search And Rescue, Quick Response Vehicle) after the Bald Eagle.

PURPOSE
Get to the response point fast. Have everything you need to complete the mission (cargo bay to swap in and out the right gear). Get everyone home safe and fast.

*Primary travel: AIR - VTOL
*Secondary travel: SEA - Under belly propellers
*Alternate travel: LAND - Mostly to navigate runways. Not meant for off road but it is possible.
*+1 bonus fire cannon control
-Sonar & Radar System

Vehicle Features
Power (2 jet turbines with afterburners) for max speed
Roll over systems systems. In case you find yourself upside down on land or sea.
Land: use the rotating jet exhaust to flip yourself over gently.
Sea: use the propeller on the tail to flip yourself over, minimum depth of 15 meter to sea floor
GPS Position Hold & Altitude Hold in helicopter mode
Auto pilot in plane mode with Altitude Hold
Cargo bay gantry system.
Landing gear. Lower to easily load vehicles & cargo
Automatic generator (with backup batteries)
Automatic bilge pump system
Cabin pressure can be increased to assist in faster bilge pumping and also works to keep water out when in the ocean and doors are open to deploy equipment or dive.
Controllable water cannon on the right wing from pilot seat

INSTRUCTIONS
Starting up:
LAND:
Plane automatically start in MODE: LAND
Release parking brake Key bind: 1 Parking Brake
Use WASD to roll out of hanger
Once out unfold wings and lock the button. To prevent accidentally folding up during flight. This may break the propeller.
Occasionally unfolding will cause damage. Repair so they lock before take off. Hardpoint connections secure the wings in the down position.

SEA:
Toggle the MODE: to SEA
Press Space to lower and turn on propellers. Key bind: Spacebar = Propellers
Use WASD and UDLR to navigate away from the dock.
Once away unfold wings and lock the button.
Occasionally unfolding will cause damage. Repair so they lock before take off.

Air:
Switch to MODE: AIR
Turn on the key press and hold the start button until engines start.
Throttle up the propellers.
Climb to desired altitude using the UP key.
Push the thrust throttle forward
Key bind: Spacebar = Afterburner to go fast.

Note the Kraken does not like it when you land on the Hospital boat.

TIPS
Wing extensions can not be folded or unfolded with fluid in the wing extensions. The weight is too great for the lifting mechanism.
If you decide to fill the wing extension with jet fuel for extended missions you can transfer fuel to the main tanks. Find the pumps in the rear corner of each wings main section.
Land on your back? Use the roll over features to right yourself.
SEA: Make sure you are in MODE:SEA use U/D keys to activate tail propellers
LAND: Make sure you are in MODE:AIR use the Rotational Thrust controls

The welder button is to allow the pilot to quickly repair the cockpit and wing pivots should they get damaged. You can always add more if you find others areas susceptible to damage. There are 5 welders in the plane. 3 for the cockpit :There is one in the beak facing the monitors and one above and behind the seat and another below and behind the seat. The last two are in the wing extensions. This helps save you some repair bottles.

The large winch is built off from 454SS H4 platform. To use the large winch just use the key to disconnect the attachment. Attach a cable, hose or rope from the winch to the attachment. Then use the up/down arrows to winch in or out. Thanks for the feedback.

hi , I really love the design and thegrace of flying with this cool VTOL Eagle. What i could not figure out jet is what the Welders Button is for & how to make the large winch working ?
