Pistol Shredder Fix

Description
All this mod does, is fix shredder not working for pistols, be they primary or otherwise.

The base game checks if the soldier has the "Shredder" perk and then "unlocks" shredder on the abilitties that have it. Pistols don't use the same internal ability to deal damage as rifles. So they don't interact with Shredder.

This mod modifies how the pistol version applies damage such that it now takes Shredder into account.So this applies to all weapons that use that internal ability to fire.

There is 1 option to change via config. That is whether or not to limit this to primary pistols as the base game actually doesn't care and will make Shredder work on secondary pistols too. I made this limitation the default since Shredder does say it applies to primary (which is a lie).

(you still need the actual "Shredder" perk for this to kick in. This mod also applies to return fire and overwatch with pistols in the same way, but I never tested those.).

Whelp, in that case I will update the description when I get back home.
I won't be able to make a separate vanilla version.

It's not about Steam not liking it, the base version of the game is literally incapable of loading mods made with WOTC modmaking tools.

There shouldn't be anything in the mod that is specific to WOTC, but steam might not like it because I set it as required.

Wanted to clarify that if you made the mod in WotC SDK then it won't be able to run on vanilla, I'm pretty sure.

Right up until you add Primary secondaries and find yourself without a main gun.

Shredder rounds work with pistols in LWOTC, but the perk doesn't. I kind of assume that's working as intended, but I was definitely a bit disappointed the first time I tried out the combo.

To my knowledge, LWOTC does not fix that. It might have a separate version of shredder that does, but it's also not supposed to give primary pistols. This fixes basegame shredder, which, at the very least, still exists in LWOTC.

Weapon Fixes is not LWOTC related but is supposed to fix it too. Unfortunately for me, tit doesn't work. At least that part of the mod.

I'm pretty sure Shredder works for LWOTC, have other modders fixed this already?
