Qantar Plaza

Assault the town of Qantar fighting tooth and nail in a combined arms battle to secure the main plaza and surrounding landmarks. Fight through the tight urban streets or push up along the dusty grassland to secure your victory within the battlefield of Qantar Plaza.

This is a medium sized desert map focusing on vehicle and infantry gameplay. The map has been designed to play similar to the conquest maps of Battlefield 4 and Battlefield 3 with one main control point for each team and 5 neutral control points, (main control points are possible to capture). Like BF3 and BF4 there are short distances between capture points so that you’re never too far from the action. Throughout the map there is plenty of cover and separated sight lines so that you won’t be harassed from range without any recourse.

The map is sectioned into 3 zones, the courtyard, the town and the outskirts. The town supports close quarters combat between infantry and vehicles. The outskirts surrounding the town allow for long and medium-range engagements and an open area for ground vehicles. The courtyard is in the center of the map and acts as a no man’s land, often changing sides rapidly throughout the battle.

The night version of the map is quite dark, requiring night vision to see in most areas.

The map can be played on all game modes. However, it has not been balanced for every game mode so there might be inconsistencies from mode to mode.

For a more linear infantry focused experience you can disable all flags except the ones in the town.

In a push to secure the arid regions of Raven territory, the Eagles have established a forward operating base just outside the town of Qantar. What was once a fortified Raven position has been shattered by relentless Eagle artillery strikes, forcing the defenders to retreat into their main base. Now, both factions converge on the battered town, locked in a brutal clash for control of Qantar Plaza.
