Introduction to R&D History：
The GK2 Hydraulic Transmission Diesel Locomotive, manufactured by Ziyang Locomotive Works in 1994, is equipped with an MTU 16V396TC14 diesel engine, Voith L5r4zU2 hydraulic transmission box, and programmable controller. It features hydraulic reversing and braking functions, with a installed power of 1320 kW and a maximum speed of 65 km/h. The locomotive adopts a single cab with external walkway structure, suitable for shunting and short-distance operations in railway sections, mines, metallurgy, petrochemical plants, and ports. Only three units were produced, all currently operating on Maoming Petrochemical's railway lines.
