Initially, this map used the simple, clean-y variant of my hybrid style and much like Devices was another attempt at making a map as quickly as possible (and a pretty successful one, it was made over the course of 2 days with ~90% of the work being done on day 2). Shortly after completing it however, I thought it'd be fun to make another map in a maintenance/construction style. And since I didn't want to start an entire new map, I instead subjected the initial version of this to "maintenanceification"

The earliest iteration of the puzzle dates back to somewhere around mid-late 2023 when I was building a heavily Aperture-like research facility in Minecraft, and thought it'd be fun to include a few test chambers from different mods, one of them being a modified version of room 3 of Blue Portals' chamber 2. Fast forward to 2025, I'm working on porting BP elements into Portal 2 and the idea of remaking that room in Portal 2 pops into my mind.
