T.S.M.S. SPAMMALS

Description
Overview

The S.S. Spammals was a very popular ship in the early days of the game, although somewhat forgotten now it brings back nostalgia for many. This ship is a complete remake from the ground up of the original Spammals, complete with comfortable cabins, interior spaces and much more! (including a working pool cover!) Leave any suggestions in the comments below and I might consider adding them in future updates :)
(In the spirit of the original- feel free to remake this and repost it with your cool designs and modifications- maybe a wartime version or a wreck version would be interesting :D)

You can download the original Spammals here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1752761148

If you find any problems or bugs that I missed, even just unpainted blocks- let me know! I definitely missed some stuff but I have been busy and had to get this ship out quickly!

Starting the Engines

Spammals is a twin-screw-motor-ship, relying on two modular diesels. To start these, head to the engine control room on the lowest deck. First turn on the breakers on the panel, then unlock engine start for each engine. Click the starter and turn RPS and Clutch up. Propeller pitch is controlled from the bridge, as well as reverse. Have fun sailing!

Lore

T.S.M.S. Spammals was launched in 1951 for J&R Line, with stylish interiors and comfortable cabins she was a popular ship. By the mid 1960's she began to offer more cruises, especially to the Arid Islands. However, her stuffy liner design made her a poor fit, and during restructuring at J&R she was laid up in the Sawyer Delta in 1969.

By 1971 neglect had taken its toll on the Spammals, her hull was streaked with rust and many of her fittings had grown mouldy from the damp, however this did not deter Star Navio from acquiring the vessel in 1971. After nearly a year of refit and rebuilding she set of on a debut cruise out of Holt Town as 'Adriana Navio'. She was wildly popular. In 1979 a refit enlarged her deck space, with the removal of the dining room skylight. Her pool store was also moved from the stern to the back of the deckhouse in order to increase space.

However, her old age was beginning to show by the 80s, and Star Navio set about updating her. In 1984 she was drydocked for 6 months to allow for the creation of two more top-deck suits, as well as partially enclosing her bridgewings. Her cargo-derricks were finally removed and her bow was partly opened to passengers. Her pool deck was enlarged, unfortunately damaging her stern profile. The refit proved successful and Adriana Navio continued in operation up until 1995, when finally the ageing ship was withdrawn from service and laid up in the Sawyer Delta.

Following several bids from various different owners, with different plans for the ship, she was finally purchased by a scrapyard based in the Arctic. She was pulled into Holt Town where her fittings were removed, and her bridge painted red so that she could be easily spotted by her tugboat in rough waves. She departed on her way in 2002, under the control of a small tugboat. However, around a day into her crossing, the wind broke her towline and she ran aground on the east coast of Sawyer. One attempt was made to free the vessel, but this failed. By late 2002 she had broken in two and it would be virtually impossible to remove. The wreck continued to decay until around 2015, when the final piece of her forecastle vanished below the surf, ending the life of one of Stormworks' most iconic liners.

I Assure You I Will!, I Got Quite A Bit Of Work To Do To Her, I Plan To Base Her "Conversion" Similar To The German Raiders During The Great War And Second World War, Or Maybe As A Convoy Escort.

I Will Also Link Your And The Original Post Because I Love Both And You Kinda Revived The Ship.
