Description
Group B Beast is BACK!

Welcome, today I present you a remake of my first Ravenfield Rally mod. It features all rally variants of Audi Quattro. It works the best with the RFR project maps.

VARIANTS:
  • Audi Quattro - In 1978 Audi started the development of the first AWD rally car. They took and modified the AWD system from Volkswagen Iltis off-road car used by the German military. The finished car was bulky and very understeery but nevertheless it had traction in all 4 wheels which was an advantage on dirt or snow. First rally Quattro had a 2.1L V5 egine that could produce 300HP. It debuted in 1981 and despite having a lot of reliability issues it managed to win Rally Sweden, RAC Rally and Rally Sanremo (which was the first WRC rally to be won by a woman: Michèle Mouton). It also secured 3rd place in very quick Rally Finland. In 1982 Quattro dominated the WRC winning Rally Sweden, Portugal, Greece, Brazil, Finland, Sanremo, and RAC Rally securing the 1982 manufacturers championship.
    - Drivetrain: AWD
    - Transmission: 5-speed
    - Acceleration: 0-100kph in 4.9s
    - Top speed: 220kph (135mph)
    - Debut: 1981
    - Livery: Audi Sport, 1981-1982, Hannu Mikkola, Michèle Mouton, Franz Wittmann, Michele Cinotto, Stig Blomqvist

  • Audi Quattro A1 - In 1983 Audi upgraded the Quattro with a new engine that could produce 320HP. It won Rally Sweden and Portugal that year and managed to be 2nd and 3rd in very harsh Safari Rally Kenya.
    - Drivetrain: AWD
    - Transmission: 5-speed
    - Acceleration: 0-100kph in 4.7s
    - Top speed: 220kph (135mph)
    - Debut: 1983
    - Livery: Audi Sport, 1983, Hannu Mikkola, Michèle Mouton, Stig Blomqvist

  • Audi Quattro A2 - For 1983 Tour de Corse Audi developed a new better Quattro A2 with a more powerful engine producing 350HP. It dominated Rally Argentina scoring all top 4 positions. In Finland and RAC Rally it was 1st, 2nd and 4th, and 2nd in Côte d'Ivoire. In 1984 Quattro A2 showed its best side. It took 1-2-3 in Monte Carlo, Sweden and Argentina. It also won in Portugal and New Zealand. Even though in the same year Audi developed new Sport Quattro S1, Quattro A2 was the one to win the manufacturers championship title for Audi.
    - Drivetrain: AWD
    - Transmission: 5-speed
    - Acceleration: 0-100kph in 4.5s
    - Top speed: 220kph (135mph)
    - Debut: 1983
    - Livery: Audi Sport, 1983-1984, Hannu Mikkola, Michèle Mouton, Stig Blomqvist, Walter Röhrl

  • Audi Sport Quattro S1 - In 1984 Audi decided to shorten their rally Quatros and developed Sport Quattro S1. Thanks to having a shorter wheelbase it was a bit less understeery. It also had wider wheels for better grip. With a new 2.1L V5 engine it could produce 450HP. First rallies it entered in the middle of 1984 season showed plenty of reliability problems with the car. Despite those however it managed to win harsh Côte d'Ivoire rally. 1985 was much more successful: 2nd in Monte Carlo, Sweden and Greece, 3rd in Portugal and New Zealand. Driven by Michèle Mouton it also won the 1985 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb.
    - Drivetrain: AWD
    - Transmission: 5-speed
    - Acceleration: 0-100kph in 3.5s
    - Top speed: 220kph (135mph)
    - Debut: 1984
    - Livery: Audi Sport, 1984-1985, Walter Röhrl, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist, Michèle Mouton

  • Audi Sport Quattro S1E2 - In 1985 Audi updated their Sport Quattro S1 with a new engine that could produce over 470 HP. It was the most powerful group B rally car. It made its debut at the 1985 Rally Argentina, was 2nd at Finland and won Rally Sanremo. In 1986 it was 3rd and 4th at Monte Carlo but after fatal accident at Rally Portugal Audi withdrew from the WRC.
    - Drivetrain: AWD
    - Transmission: 6-speed
    - Acceleration: 0-100kph in 3.3s
    - Top speed: 220kph (135mph)
    - Debut: 1985
    - Livery: Audi Sport, 1985-1986, Walter Röhrl, Hannu Mikkola, Stig Blomqvist

  • Audi Sport Quattro S1E2 Pikes Peak - After the banning of Group B Audi built a hillclimb version of their Sport Quattro. An even more powerful S1E2 variant produced over 500HP. It had a lot of aero addons like huge rear spoiler and front wing. It won the 1987 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb driven by Walter Röhrl.
    - Drivetrain: AWD
    - Transmission: 6-speed
    - Acceleration: 0-100kph in 3s
    - Top speed: 240kph (150mph)
    - Debut: 1987
    - Livery: Pikes Peak 1987, Walter Röhrl
