Skill Book Basics

Skill books are books that Henry can read to improve his various skills and stats.

Every skill book series has 4 volumes - from 1 to 4 - which require an increasingly high skill level to read, and give an increasingly high amount of experience. Reading a skill book grants the same amount of experience as a same-level trainer's training.

- Can be obtained by speaking with Knight Herrmann Littlehead and fulfilling his request to play a trick on Florian during the For Victory! quest during Von Bergow's vassal diner.

The Strength of the Knight IV

- A key for this chest is in a nest nearby. Map item can be obtained during a quest for the Kuttenberg Brotherhood.

Marathon III

- By jumping fences behind the Kuttenberg Rathaus you will find a cave entrance leading to a smugglers hideout which will contain this book locked in a chest as well as other useful gear.

Marathon IV

- This one is a bit tricky, as it must be obtained before a certain point in the main story relating to the jewish quarter. Approaching the king Solomon tavern you will enter a door on the far right and climb up ladders onto the city walls. Continuing by going to the left you will jump down onto the hay roof and to the left where you will find the book lying on the bench.

Hi, and thanks for the great summary. I have to correct a few inaccuracies though: The Scribe in Troskovitz only sells level 1 books, the Scribes in Kutná Hora only sell level 2 books.
They also do not sell The Strength of the Knight I (it is in Blacksmith's Radovan's chest in an attic), The Art of the Sword I (it is in Nomad's Camp on the rock behind Fence Whitebeard),
Punches, Kicks, and a Few Slaps I (it is in Zhelejov Wagoner's Inn in a barn where fistfights are taken). Also, Woodsman's Journal I can be simply bought from Huntsman Vostatek's son Vitek.
