Where to get the Best Horse Gear in KCD2 (locations for both regions)

Want the best horse gear in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2? This guide shows you exactly where to find the top saddles, bridles/chanfrons, horseshoes, and caparisons to max out your horse’s speed, stamina, and carry weight. Ride like a noble, not a peasant.

Intro

Depending on your needs, different gear builds can prioritize different attributes—such as courage for staying calm in battle, speed for quick travel, or carrying capacity for transporting goods. Choosing the right setup can make all the difference in the field.

Saddles

Norman saddle (Best in Trosky region)

Best obtainable saddle in Trosky region is the norman saddle, it can be found either in Semine stables or saddler, or once you advance far enough in the main questline the hired hand Kabat in Trosky castle.

Cracowian Saddle (Kuttenberg region)

Adds 200 capacity at the expense of 5 speed.
Multiple variants
Can be purchased at both Kuttenberg saddlers as well as stables in the region (Grund and Maleshov).
Exclusive purplish variant
Looted in a large bandit camp north of Kuttenberg
Exclusive brown variant
In a tunnel in the ruins of mesholes, in a path going the right, tunnel itself has two entrances, one next to a broken down "chimney".

Dragon Saddle (same stats as Cracowian, only in Kuttenberg region)

If you find this saddle more visually appealing, it is available at the Kuttenberg saddlers (both) and the Maleshov stables in many color variants such as the white in the picture.
It is visually considerably smaller in size compared to Cracowian.

Best Bridle

Dragon Chanfron (higher courage lower speed)

Only consider using this attachment if you plan to enter combat with your horse, as it adds 5 courage and a lot of armor at the expense of -5 speed

Tournament Bridle (increase speed)

This bridle adds 5 speed to your horse stats, however does not add many other considerable benefits.
It can be found only in and around Kuttenberg, with once again both Kuttenberg saddlers having many variants of it, however Boyar Stoia of Mondra also offers variants of it, he is located by the main road west of Kuttenberg, he also offers to sell or keep stolen horses.

Best Horseshoe

Knight's horseshoes (best in Trosky region)

These horseshoes can be obtained from blacksmith Osina at the upper part of Trosky castle, until you reach this part of the game the best you will find are farmer's horsehoes.

Racing horseshoes (straight after entering Kuttenberg region)

They add 5 speed and have no downsides, aswell as being very easy to get.
Simplest way to get these is after arriving to Suchdol by going to the spot on the image below north of the castle where you will find a few tents next to the river, in one of these you will find a bag in which they are located.

Best Caparison/Harness

A note first

Caparisons and harnesses are the most contentious of horse gear as they offer different trade-offs between courage, speed, and carrying capacity on the largest scale, in Trosky you should visit either the Troskowitz tailor or the Trosky castle cobbler to find which is best for your needs.

Executioner's Caparison with Harness

It is regarded as the best overall caparison for enhancing your horse's performance. This caparison increases your horse's courage by 5 and provides 3 points of armor against stab, slash, and blunt damage. However, it also decreases the horse's carrying capacity by 50, stamina by 12, and speed by 5.
It is available for purchase at the Kuttenberg tailors.

Bridle of the Holy Roman Empire

This bridle enhances your horse's stamina by 18 and speed by 2, significantly improving overall performance at not much of a cost.
It can once again be purchased at the Kuttenberg saddlers or stables in the region.

The best horseshoe with a +8 on speed bonus is from a Semine village quest. Talk to the Saddler's assistant and steal the "magic horseshoe" from the Nomads.
The rewarded blacksmithing blueprint can get you easily to 20+ in craftsmanship for 1 scrap metal/horseshoe
If you value speed, especially on a slow Pebbles, just travel between Zhelejov and Troskowitz a few times and you will encounter bandits with a dead horse rocking a Prague saddle (low capacity high speed). Toss em in your crate at the inn for a few days and you are set.
Sadly, Nebakov mill has been patched and the free Dragon is now a Norman saddle.
Anyways, I hope people will grab proper good horse shoes on reading this. All you need to do is go to Semine village before all the stuff with the caught "nomad/gypsy" happens, talk to the guy then (in low conspic gear) loot the non-locked basket for the "magic" horseshoes.

I managed to find Lovarian horseshoe in Trotsky region once I found it by buying it from Romani Encounter that you find in Trotsky (They are not in Nomad Camp btw) but seperate camp you find across map and it's a random encounter so keep travelling till you encounter them. Btw best saddles are from Nomad camp though. Norman saddle isn't really great compared to the ones you find in Nomad camp
