Description
Introduction to R&D History:
The Shaofeng 200-ton trolley-type mining electric locomotive, manufactured by Xiangtan Electric Machinery Plant in 1994, was improved from the previous Shaofeng 150-ton model. As there is no publicly available documentation for this locomotive model, its specific performance data are provided for reference only.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Vehicle parameters:
Weight:200 t
Speed:80 KM/H
Power:4000 HP
Traction:550 KN
Appearance-over:1994 -
Axial type:B0-B0+B0-B0
--------------------------------------------------------------
Warning:
Because it is a voxel vehicle, the model surface is much more than a normal modeling vehicle, which has certain requirements for the performance of the graphics card. Taking my graphics card RTX2060 as an example, it runs very smoothly.

I hope you will enjoy this special form of vehicle expression :)

@贵段火车迷 是的,我有那份文件,不过里面没有详细的车辆性能数据。

湘潭电机官网上,关于邵峰的页面里面,产品手册中有邵峰的设计图纸,可以拿来参照

First of all, the following English conversation would not sound out of place if you translated it into Japanese. A terrifying Chinese AI.
And thank you for the train.

@Pitagoras991 Actually, no! This was built using Minecraft combined with the LittleTiles mod, as it’s significantly faster than creating block models directly in 3D modeling software. ‌

So it is created in an general purpose 3d modelling programme like Blender or 3dmax by creating and placing cube meshes?

@Pitagoras991 Thank you for your kind words! Regarding the use of 3D modeling software, I’m afraid it’s not feasible in my case. The reason I opted for a block-based approach over traditional modeling is simple: creating detailed models requires extensive reference materials. Many of the vehicles I’ve worked on lack preserved documentation — some data isn’t publicly available or remains locked away in archives.

By using blocks, I can abstract the design while focusing on core elements like silhouette, blueprints, and dimensions. This method allows me to work efficiently without relying on inaccessible technical specs. I hope this makes sense and you can understand where I’m coming from! :D

Nice! What programme do You use to make the 3d shape out of blocks?
