Skirmish at Slikovich Barn

A small and linear map with chaotic shell hole to shell hole fighting. Limited MGs, heavy focus on infantry combat and bolt actions. Heavy fog limits both the player's and Bots' sight resulting in close range gunfights. Heavily inspired by "CENTAURA".

LORE:

As both alliances declared war on one another, the GSRA (Archaenum) launched a mass infantry assault along a small section of the Vrossnic front, smashing through defenses and stunning the Vrossnic high command with the sheer scale of the attack. The first 8 days proved fruitful for the GSRA.

As they advanced inland, they were constantly harassed by Vrossnic cavalry and mortar fire. The Vrossnic defenses stiffened as they advanced, determined to make the socialists pay for every inch of land. Other than the small counter attacks by isolated cavalry regiments, the GSRA pushed on unimpeded.

That was until, they reached a barn, a barn which would go down in history as a part of the greatest last stand in modern history. Vrossnic forces rushed to confront the invaders, supplied by Mortemmun equipment, they dug in on the south side of the barn as they prepared for the brunt of the attack.

Vrossnic pioneer battalions soon pushed into the barn itself, and arranged hay bales as makeshift cover, their orders were simple: "Make the socialists pay for every inch of land, every drop of Vrossnic blood, and at all cost, this land is not considered lost until every last patriot defending it has fallen! There will be no surrender!"
