Description
A mod that adds a handful of crew roles. Currently, it adds:

- Marine Biologist: Gives your swimming a boost, perfect for exploring oceans.
- Pyrotechnician: Packs heat, literally. Armed with a flamethrower or rocket launcher.
- Mad Scientist: Increases your max energy significantly. (Might change this to have a catch later; it's a pretty big boost.)
- Lunar Expert: Keeps the Erchius Ghost at bay... for a while. (Kinda OP with Corbent's Interactive Crew, since the effect outlasts the cooldown, but oh well.)
- Geologist: Highlights nearby ores. The way this is implemented should be compatible with almost all modded ores!
- Archaeologist: Highlights nearby fossils. Should work with Betabound fossils as well.
- Hunter: Boosts your bow and spear damage, and helps you get more materials from monsters, regardless of the weapon you use. (Because SB doesn't have a neat-and-tidy way to actually fetch a monster's loot pools, support for more drops from modded monsters requires OpenStarbound.)

The mission wasn't even the only way to recruit the Lunar Expert anyway - villagers and certain kinds of tenants can offer to join as one.

Yeah, I plan to re-add the Lunar Expert drop separately. I do wanna come up with some other fun recruitment methods to go with that. I like the idea of, for example, freeing an archaeologist from a sarcophagus. I just haven't nailed down what the archaeologist would do yet, lol

but hey if your looking for some add-on mods to get the Lunar Expert you can try Mapel32's Safe moons and Less Dead Moons

I take it your gonna make a separate add-on that re-add's the Lunar Expert crew member from the Erchius Mines mission?

@Kinsect I've removed the bit that replaces the NPC that the Erchius Horror drops :3

Alright, I can remove the replacement in the next update, maybe make it its own add-on. Might be a bit, though: I've got a geologist role I'm trying to get working.

@Kinsect Is the mission the only way to get a Bruiser in that mod? If there are other ways, it shouldn't be too big of a deal.

I think I found a possible conflict if you have Slightly Painful Erchius Mission
since once you defeat the Erchius Horror it replaces the npc with a Bruiser you can hire as a crew member
I haven't tested it yet though
