If you'd like a coding challenge to make some distinction between my shotgun and the one you already made, you could try to code in a "Fail to fire, try again" mechanic, where it has the 85% chance of going off like your current pipe weapon mod here, but if it fails then instead of trying again from start it JUST factors in the aiming time, not the firing delay cooldown? Since realistically you'd just need to aim and pull again if you somehow didnt slam it back hard enough to set the shell off the first time. Idk if you watched the Forgotten Weapons video on the loading and use of the mechanism, but if not I highly recommend ya do so it makes more sense! Not sure if that's even possible with Rimworld's mechanics, but it'd certainly be interesting!
I tried to draw some crossbows from Kenshi and I didn't really like how they turned out so I deleted them all in shame. I will try and draw them again, its just hard to get the crossbow limbs right in my mind.
