Titanoboa lived 60-58 million years ago during the mid to late Paleocene. This snake could grow up to 12.8 m (42 ft) long, perhaps even up to 14.3 m (47 ft) long, weighing around 730–1,135 kg (1,610–2,500 lb) & is thought to have been a semi-aquatic apex predator with a diet consisting primarily of fish. Titanoboa is most closely related to boas from Madagascar & the Pacific.
