Nature's Wrath

Description
Nature's Wrath
Experience a campaign like never before, where the forces of nature shape the path to victory. Dynamic events bring unexpected challenges to your empire, testing your resilience and strategy at every turn. Adapt, overcome, and rise above as the world itself becomes your greatest adversary.

New Disasters
There are a couple of new disasters that have special functionalities

Avalanches
Description: Snow and ice cascade down mountains, burying valleys and blocking key passes.

Severity:
  • Light (2 years)
  • Normal (5 years)
  • Heavy (8 years)

Effect: Impassable paths during winter, requiring careful planning and detours.

Landslides
Description: A landslide caused a valley to be sealed. This landslide will block all passage in both seasons.

Duration: Landslides block passage until cleared by constructing a special building in the region—or you can wait a few turns for nature to take its course.

Effect: A big pile of rubble/stones is blocking a mountain pass.

Forest Storms
Description: Violent storms devastate forested areas, toppling trees and blocking critical paths.

Duration: Clear them by building the special cleanup structure or waiting a few years.

Effect: Blocked forest trails; clearance requires dedicated efforts or time for nature to reclaim the path.

River Blockades
Description: River crossings are rendered unusable due to rogue armies seizing control.

Severity:
  • Minor: Small rebel force.
  • Moderate: Organized militia.
  • Major: Veteran mercenaries or heavily armed forces.
The rogue armies spawn on predefined river crossing tiles, and will remain there for up to 7 turns.

Effect: Blocked crossings that force armies to divert or engage in battle to reclaim the bridge.

Additional Events
But that’s not all! Floods, volcanoes, plagues, and earthquakes are now more frequent. Plagues occur randomly in settlements across the map, spreading sickness that causes armies to take attrition in affected regions.
Each turn there is a small percent chance either of above events will occur.

THE GREAT PLAGUE
There is also a small chance of a GLOBAL PANDEMIC. If triggered, all regions in the world will be affected instantly, creating a global disaster. This event brings harsher penalties than regular plagues, including increased negative effects and even greater attrition for armies.

This is similar to Rome 2 a tad. Exceptional work! Mods which alter the map will be incompatible however.

hate that romes mods are often or almost never compatbile with each other, that just sucks. not saying its the modders fault, since i assume its just the way the game is coded, that mods arent compatible with each other. in paradox games like eu4 mods work often together, and if they conflict they will have most likely a compatibilty patch at least for other big mods. but anyways your mod looks great, i will try it out when i will play rome again!

@Alfarius @Ba Ba Bi Bu Ba No its not compatible. This mod is a mod for campaign, and most features are done with scripts. And they are not compatible with mods that change campaign maps etc
