Description
v7.0.0: Should be compatible to U7. You can now also change the settings while in-game (Carry Capacity needs a reload to take effect), applied for both U6 and U7.

v1.2.0: Change the name to "Configurable Beaver Stats". You can now optionally change the Carry Capacity with a multiplier as well. No change for existing users as the default value is x1.

v1.1.0: You can now change the speed of bots separately as well. It's optional and by default, bot speed follows beavers' speed.

To configure the settings: Mod Settings (Game or Main Menu -> Mods -> Settings button next to the mod name)

Increase the walking speed of beavers and bots. By default, this mod increases them 2x. You can change the Base Walking Speed and Base Slowed Speed of Beavers in the Mod Settings from 1 to 100 (game default 2.7 and 1.35). Note that the mod only increases the speed so setting an entry to 0 is a way to disable the mod for that entry.

From v1.2.0 you can also change the carrying capacity as well. A value of 1.5 for example will let Beavers carry 21kg (from game default 14kg) and Bots carry 30kg (from game default 20kg). All the bonuses from Hauling Post etc are still applied normally. A value of 0.5 will make the game harder. The mod defaults the value at 1 so no change is made to the game unless you configure it.

Hi is that U7 (I assume this) or U6? Please make sure your ModSettings is up-to-date (v0.7+) and make sure only 3 mods are active (Harmony, ModSettings and this mod) to make sure it's due to this mod. If it still crashes, please send the crash log, I will check (you can create a discussion if it's too long to send in comment).

From the code, Base Slowed Speed is used when a Beaver or Bot is carrying stuff (Builder, Hauler, Farmer when collecting and more I suppose)

Thank you so much! I used the ladder, but it's a pain. Putting up a roof on houses is a good way to get a +1 early on, and ladders are expensive on science and planks... They should allow for beavers (in theory) being able to build roofs from inside the taller house, just like we hoomans do:)

I will look into it, not sure how easy it would be. I think it will need to be a separate mod. In the meantime I recommend the Ladder mod and Staircase mod (for the Scaffolding), making Scaffolding much easier to bear.

Hello, would it be possible to add a modifier for vertical reach? For example making it possible to reach n levels up and complete roofs without having to build platforms to reach that high.
