The Birth of Wadiya
In 1835, the people of Wadiya, a fertile oasis nestled between the Red Sea and the vast Sahara, rose in rebellion against Egyptian rule. For decades, Egypt had exploited Wadiya’s trade routes and fertile lands, leaving its tribes fractured and impoverished.

United by Amir Aladeen, a charismatic tribal leader, the Wadiyan tribes launched a daring revolt. Using the desert’s harsh terrain to their advantage, Khalil's forces defeated the Egyptian army in the decisive Battle of the Red Dunes. The victory forced Egypt to recognize Wadiya’s sovereignty in the Treaty of Bashar, marking the birth of the Sultanate of Wadiya.


Starting Position (1836):
Wadiya begins as a small, newly independent desert nation with limited resources but strategic trade routes. placed below Egypt and the Ottoman Empire, players must navigate diplomacy carefully.
