Zamak MRL + RHSAFRF BM-21 = Zamak Grad

Basically, a refurbished Grad with working gunners interaface...

Description:
For quite some time, the RHSAFRF BM-21 has an issue where the gunners interface does not exist, rendering the BM-21 useless when in combination with ACE3, for those who rely on azimuth and elevation (sure, they added it in the top right corner, but the gunner's interface remains broken). This mod goes around this issue by using the Zamak MRL model in combination with the BM-21 Grad weapon system. On one of the screenshots you can actually see me inside the gunners seat using such interface that was very much needed. It just works.

Part of a series of mods I'm working on from time to time. This is for my rocket artillery enjoyers. Every faction that has a Zamak MRL was added this variant too.

No, this is not yet another composition. The mod is signed, scripts are server compatible and should be working. Tested by myself. Due to lack of time, I'm unable to print out a lot of cool designs I've worked on since August 2024. Hopefully more cool things will appear on my workshop.

Mod is very much compatible with ACE3.

Known "issues":
- Since the BM-21 is from RHSAFRF, I wanted to add a variant to its 4 existing factions. I've used #RGB to setup the textures of the Zamak Grad to fit the Kamaz from RHSAFRF. It looks closely to what I wanted it to be, but the setup of RGB in the textures reveals the Zamak Grad from kilometers away in foggy/rainy conditions. I simply don't have the time to do retextures.


The mod was fully tested, packed, signed and tested yet again by DrunkeN.

@Leonard L. Church - Appreciate the info man. I wouldn't mind if I had to aim from the very turret itself, as I do know this. It would upgrade the level of immersion. A gunners seat right next to the turret itself.

In most cases, I prefer the use of weapon systems such as the BM-21, M-77, M-87, APR-40, BM-30 Smerch... you get the point.

As for the textures, I wish to avoid CDLCs. I do not consider them as part of the original series of DLCs. That and the fact I can't mod inspect the CDLC content because the .pbo's are locked which sucks (last checked in August this year).

Just a note the reason why there is no Gunners sight for the BM-21 in RHS is because its supposed to be realistic BM-21 (That or RHS is a bunch of lazy fucks) have to be aimed from a rear sight, also for the re-texture im pretty sure there is a vanilla green texture and or a texture from Western Sahara for it if not there is a big vanilla enhanced mod called Aegis or something like that i know for a fact that has many textures for Russian trucks and if im not mistaken a Zamak is one of them. hope this helps :NATO:
