Ever noticed that despite being called "the powder keg of Europe", nothing really happens in the Balkans most games? Or that instead of a powerkeg you only get a sad Ottoman basketcase?

That's what lead led me to create Gates of the Bosphorus. This mod aims to add historical context and new mechanics to nations of the Balkans and the Ottoman Empire. This mod has an expensive scope covering the Ottoman and post-Ottoman states of the near East with an eventual goal of providing content from 1836 into the 1940s.

NOTE: This mod will not provide any DLC-exclusive content unless you own the respective DLC!

I find the Serbian constitutional goals impossible, it gives you little time to complete them and it's hard because almost none of the parties support those laws

It would also be appropriate for historical literature to change the name of the Ottoman Empire from "Ottoman Sultanate" to "Devlet-i Aliyye-i Osmaniye", meaning "The Sublime Ottoman State". Yours sincerely.

However, the flags of the Kurdish principalities in this context were not the current one. The modern Kurdish flag (Rengîn/Rengînî) was designed after the Wilsonian Principles era, specifically gaining traction with the Xoybûn (Hoybun) movement in the 1920s, which aimed for a unified national symbol. It is not an accurate representation of an Ottoman/Medieval-era Kurdish cultural flag.

Kinda want to have the extra states in Southern Dobrudja, Northern Thrace, Epirus, Northern Epirus, and the like.
