This is a free to USE mod.

CLIENT CRASHES PRIOR TO HOTFIX FOR 1.27
It appears that the latest hotfix for 1.27 patch has resolved the client crashing issue that was occurring. If you experience issues related to this mod specifically please report it with any related logs to me in my discord.

NOTE TO ADMIN/HOSTERS
If you are spawning the smoke grenades using admin tools like VPP or COT then you MUST set the quantity to 1-100. Do NOT use the default "MAX" for quantity or else all smoke grenades will not work properly.
I usually just set the quantity to 1.

Description
This mod adds animations and effects for the dynamic helicopter spawns. I created a separate new spawn system to manage the event so it does not use the vanilla event system, so I'd recommend you disable the vanilla helicopter crash event while using this mod.

When the event is triggered it will spawn a helicopter on a random edge of the map and it will then fly to its designated crash site. While it is flying to its crash site it can be shot out of the sky (if your aim is good enough) to cause it to crash early.

Crash sites can either be specified in the config or you can use the system I made that generates random locations. It works on all maps and only generates locations on terrain and NOT in the water.

While the helicopter is falling out of the sky it has physics so it will not land precisely on crash site but close enough. It will knock down trees so it is impossible for it to get stuck up in a tree. Keep in mind that it is possible to for the crash to land on somewhere inaccessible (for example a roof with no access to the roof)

You are able to customize the loot and the enemies that spawns around the crash in the config. (Compatible with Expansion AI to spawn bots on crash read "Info.txt" located inside the mods Extras folder for more info)

I also added an air strike that a player can call in using an Airstrike Smoke Grenade. An AH-64D will flyby and fire hellfire missiles are the smokes current location. (It will actively track smoke location movement)

There is also an optional Missile Launcher that can be placed around the map that will target and shoot down any helicopter within 1000 meters.

Config Options
There are serveral options that are customizable in the config that is generated in your servers "profiles" folder located inside the"_DynamicHelicopters" folder.
Detailed instructions are located inside this mods "Extras" folder where you will also find the "types.xml" (Don't forget to add the types to allow new smoke signal to spawn in world and persistency for the crash)

Planned Updates
Any bug fixes found after launch. (please report them either here or in my discord)

Planned Features:
A supply air drop. (both dynamic and player called)
An animated flyby bomb strike (to replace vanilla gas strike)

@robyncoxxx8 If you're refering about how to update a mod on your server then that depends on your server provider, check their website for help. If you are refering about how to update on your PC then try "repairing/validating" the mods from the launcher. Or unsubscribe then resubscribe to mod.

@Lt.Silvan This mod uses the quantmin/quantmax from the typs.xml to determine item quantity. Make sure your modded ammo is added correctly to the types.xml, values must be set to 1-100 and not -1 or 0. You can still use custom modded types.xmls as long as they're added to the cgfeconomycore.xml correctly.

Thanks man. Very cool work. Looking forward to the changes or additions. I've been asking around trying to get the override code for you, so you can add PVP zones (PVEZ mod) when the heli hits the ground. In PVE players exploit others work and steal the loot. Because no pvp zone they cant fight back.

@McBrutal Thank you for the feedback. That isn't a bug, just something I missed. I accidentally left it that way after testing the changes I made to loot spawns on the last update. I have corrected this in the next update. I am currently still working on the update as it includes new content and features and will release it when it is ready.
