Keep in mind that this guide may contain spoilers

When in Rome
Solved all mysteries in Vatican City.

Pretty straightforward : by searching through the Vatican, you'll unlock mysteries. Solving them will complete the quests listed under the "Mysteries" category in your journal. Do them all and you'll unlock this achievement. These include :
- The Bulls of Blood
- A Date to Remember
- Secret of Secrets
- House of God
- A Free Spirit
- A Snake in the Garden
- Father and Son
- Signs of Trouble

Path of Junia
Photographed all inscriptions in Vatican City and returned to Antonio.

For this achievement, you must go to the indicated locations on your map and take a picture of 10 inscriptions scattered across the Vatican. Once that's done, you can go back to Antonio and put the pictures on the board next to him to get the achievement.

Complete "Secret of the Queen Mother" Fieldwork.

Complete "Sanctuary of the Guardians" Fieldwork.

Secrets in the Sand
Solved all mysteries in Gizeh.

Same as When in Rome, but in Gizeh.

It Belongs in a Museum!
Collect all the missing Stelae.

In Gizeh once again, you'll be able to find Stelae. The first time you'll hear about this is when you'll receive a certain quest from Gina. 4 Steale will be asked at first, but there are 6 others. They are usually found in small structures hidden by sand, were you'll need to have the lighter unlocked (for most of them).

The Kid who Vanished
Complete "The Kid who Vanished" Fieldwork.

A Study in Fear
Complete "A Study in Fear" Fieldwork.

Lost in the Past
Complete "Lost in the Past" Fieldwork.

Beneath the Surface
Solved all mysteries in Sukhothai.

Same as Secrets in the Sand, but in Sukhothai.

Gear Head
Solve the Cogwheel puzzle in Sukhothai.

Below is a map that guides you to each puzzle location, in a chronological order. Try to follow the order, as some puzzles will require cogwheels you'll get as you progress through these puzzles. Once reaching a puzzle, there will be a hole next to a statue as shown in the picture : you'll be able to take a photo of it, for book points.

Collection & Miscellaneous

• CATEGORY : Eating

Little Horn
Eat a Cornetto.

Very simple - you can find many cornettos in the Vatican, just pick one up and eat it.

Bread is Life
Eat an Aish Baladi Bread.

Same as before - you can find those in Gizeh, eat one and you'll get the achievement.

Celestial Delight
Eat a Star Fruit.

Once again - pick up a Star Fruit, found in Sukhothai, and eat it.

• CATEGORY : Journal Notes

Field Survey
Collected 50 Journal Notes.

Journal notes include photos & notes : you'll find plenty during your playthough. This achievement unlocks naturally, upon finding them all.

Archivist
Collected all Journal Notes in the game.

Same as Field Survey, though this time around you have to collect ALL of the notes. This may be the hardest and most time-consuming achievement in the entire game, along with Repatriation.

• CATEGORY : Photography

Ecco!
Ernesto photographed.

As soon as you buy the camera from Ernesto, you can use it to take a picture of him. When you do, the achievement will unlock.

Shutterbug
Capture 50 Photographs for your Journal.

There are many sites where you can take pictures ; some unlock after progressing in the story.
This achievement is fairly easily and will unlock naturally, just make sure to take a photo of the highlighted structure / scenery as soon as you have the camera icon on the top left corner of your screen.

• CATEGORY : Adventure Books

Literary Bug
Learned an ability from Adventure books.

As you play through the game, if you search each room thoroughly, you'll often come across Adventure books. Others can be found in the boxing ring or through purchase : once you've found one, go in your inventory, under the "book" section, in which you'll be able to unlock an upgrade with points you gain by completing missions & taking pictures.

Bookworm
Learned 10 abilities from Adventure books.

Same as Literary Bug : do this 10 times and you're set !

Bookman
Learned all abilities from Adventure books.

Same as Bookworm : unlock every Adventure books and buy all of the upgrades.

• CATEGORY : Other

Filling in the Blanks
Revisit a location.

This can be obtained upon reaching the Vatican : if you open your journal, you'll have access to a map of all the major visited locations in Travels. From there, you can teleport to any other areas you've unlocked by selecting a location and holding "R" (Revisit button). Doing so will grant the achievement.

Tuned In
Bring all radio frequencies to Gina.

In Gizeh, you can find radio frequencies : there are four, scattered in Nazi camps. Upon collecting them, bring them to Gina - then, find the remaining radio frequencies in Sukhothai (4 as well) before bringing them to Gina by standing next to the radio that are used to call the boat while she is standing next to it / you, which will grant the achievement.

Repatriation
Return all Lost Artifacts.

There are 5 lost artifacts per major region (Vatican, Gizeh, Sukhothai). Scattered all across each region of the game, you'll easily be able to collect them all by buing local guides that will lead you to their precise location. Upon getting all of them, you should get the achievement.

Shadows out of Time
Collected all the Ancient Relics.

Be very careful with this achievement, as collecting all Ancient Relics isn't technically enough ; you need all of them at the SAME TIME in your inventory. Doing the final puzzle in Iraq will discard the relics you have, and if you had missed one or two relics before doing the puzzle, you'll never be able to do the achievement in that precise save. Therefore, be careful about this - you need to make sure you collect all Ancient Relics before completing the puzzle, otherwise you may have to play through the game again.

Combat

• Area : Vatican, Gizeh

Tour de Force
Defeat all boxing champions.

In the Vatican, there is a boxing ring that requires you to have an uniform (its location is marked on your map). Once you've got the uniform, you can enter the ring upon equiping it - once inside, you'll be able to fight various opponents. This can be somewhat challenging, so be sure to upgrade your character and master the controls as to avoid the enemy's attacks - I recommend aiming for the legs (look towards the floor as you're hitting), as that'll stun the enemy and allow you to win the fight easily. After that, you must also combat boxing champions in the Gizeh boxing ring and in Sukhothai's boxing ring.

The Right Note
Clobbered an enemy with a guitar.

Guitars can be found all across the map - just pick one up and hit the enemy with it.

Pest Control
Hit an enemy with a fly swatter.

Same as The Right Note : fly swatters seem a bit less common, but you'll eventually find one if you search well. Once you have one, hit an enemy and the achievement will unlock.

Apple of Discord
An enemy was hit with an apple.

Press "3" to equip your healing items (or equip them through the TAB key) and select the "fruit" item. If you've collected an apple, you just have to throw it on an enemy (right click then left click). Apples are very easy to find all across the map, often on tables.

A Little Tumble
Pushed an enemy off a ledge.

This can easily be done in the Vatican, when you're in elevated areas : simply press "R" (push button) in front of an enemy until he falls off. This can also be completed by holding "F" (whip button), pulling the enemy towards you, if he is on an elevated area and you are below. He'll fall off and you'll unlock the achievement.

Your Own Medicine
Disarmed an enemy with the whip and used the weapon to knock him out.

Using your whip ("F" key), unarm someone who is holding a weapon and pick up before knocking him down. This will grant you the achievement.

Offensive Defense
Knocked out an enemy using only counters.

Offensive Defense can be completed easily in the very first fistfight, but any fight with a singular low-powered enemy will work. Simply block and while blocking wait for a punch, then press 'Attack' on the opposite side from which the punch was thrown. If he hits from the left, press M2. A right hook, press M1. Takes about 4-5 of these counters on Normal difficulty.

A Slippery Customer
Dodged a power punch.

There are two type of ennemies : 'small ones' and 'big ones' : find a 'big enemy' and, when they attack you with their two hands, dodge backwards and this should grant you the achievement.

DLC : The Order of Giants

If any achievements are added upon the DLC's release, I will make sure to gradually add them to the guide.

It's likely some bugs still remain, preventing you from getting a full 100%. While most issues have been fixed, I still encounter some and I've been unable to get the 100%. As of now, I think all we can do is wait for further patches. Sorry to hear you're stuck as I am !

If anybody has problems unlocking the "A Slippery Customer - Dodged a power punch" achievement try switching to the default indy outfit when fighting a big guy.
Didn't seem to unlock for me when wearing a disguise.

I'm sorry to hear you're facing this issue. Do you actually see the book, or it not at the marked location ? I have similar issues, where some marked documents simply don't appear, which is why I'm missing one achievement... I get your frustration. Maybe you should send a message to the developpers, or wait for a possible patch - the only other situation, if you'd rather not wait too much, is to start the game over I fear... I'm deeply sorry :(
