Junkyard Salvager

Beschreibung
The galaxy is in chaos. Ravaged by ten years of war, all that's left are the destroyed remnants of civilizations. Resources have been consumed. Warring factions fight over what's left. Now, something else threatens those who have survived.

You are a lone salvager. Trained to repair and restore the wrecked vessels of the galactic junkyard, you scavenge for parts and resources, to build something out of nothing. Unfortunately, you have more enemies than friends. Captured and robbed of what little you have, you are left stranded on an arid planet. No oxygen. No resources. Just you, your A.I., and a suit constructor.

Will you have what it takes to survive? Will you find those who left you for dead, and take back what is yours?

Inspired by Star Salvage and Reforged Eden's Dread starting planet, you start out in a place with damaged ships and destroyed bases. By salvaging parts and repairing vessels, you can survive the hostile environment, explore a unique solar system, seek revenge on those who left you for dead, and ... hopefully ... recover your lost ship.

Junkyard Salvager uses the 200+ blueprints that I've converted into destroyed/damaged versions, and new POI's that I have created in the past two years. Original POI's created using construction sets from Vermillion, Don2k7, and Sulusdacor. Concept art generated by stable diffusion, and does not represent an in-game screenshot.

Bug reports, feature requests, and blueprint conversion requests can be submitted here:

There is a Junkyard Salvager channel on my Discord here:

Many blueprints come from the Steam workshop, and credit goes to the respective authors for their creative works. A list of converted blueprints can be found here:

I started out like many other Empyrion players: enjoying the survival experience and learning how to make my own ships. About four years ago, I designed my first POI and posted it on the Steam Workshop. Since then, I've converted many ships and bases, to wrecks, hostile encounters, or orbital patrol vessels. I've designed and submitted Zirax POI's, some of which you can find in the base game today. Now I am exploring scenario creation: designing planets, learning how to write quests, and sharing what I've learned. You may also see me occasionally on HWS, Anvil, Broken Eden, or the Eleon servers. I still consider myself a "student", learning from the masters.

We have an amazing and talented community. Shout out to all of the players, streamers, and designers, who make this game fun and interesting. I am inspired by your creations and adventures!

Thank you Eleon for making such a fun game. They made something special, and continue to deliver. I've been playing games for a long time, and this is the only one that I have played for 6000+ hours.

Thank you to KnowItAllDM for the Star Salvage scenario, and to Ravien and Vermillion for the Reforged Eden scenario. Too many times I've asked myself, "How did you guys get this to work?", and looked at your scenario files.

A special thank you to RexXxuS for teaching me so much, and for the eWSSC, eWPDA, and eWCCT tools. You inspire me.

I would also like to recognize Stellar Titan, Sulusdacor, Don2k7, Allessia, TheScriptHD, Escari, Matcz, AkevaBanshee, Kithid and Heckendiver for your design work, and teaching me to be a better POI designer. I could also spend all day recognizing legendary designers like LyfeForse, Ente, Jrandall, Art, Spanj, Stan, Garaman, Filbert, Dadrick, Procyon Lotor, CrazyZ, Rakoona, Movado ... and historical designers like Siege, Jenniphurr, and Kieve... There are too many to list! You know who you are, and your contributions to the community are amazing.

Special shout out to Kiloko: Jhoosier, Wizard, OkieOne, and Zanax, for your patience with my storage labelling problem and occasional LCD graffiti.

i know this is more or less 'normal' but it's always strange to remove a side thruster from an HV ( named 'Zyrax pulse laser turret (HV/SV) ', and or to look in your inventory to a 'thruster M (HV) ' that you can upgrade to a 'zyrax pulse laser' LOL :D

@Fylas The Ubaar asteroid field, and the lava planet Megmentes, will be the other starting options. They're not ready yet. I removed the picture, because I didn't want to cause any confusion.
