USGI Field Gear: Desert Night Camo [B42]

Desert Night Camo (DNC) was developed by the U.S. military in the 1980s to counteract early Soviet night vision technology. Its distinctive green grid pattern over a darker green base made it a unique entry in military camouflage history. While its operational use was limited during the Gulf War, it remains an iconic pattern admired for its Cold War origins. This mod brings the full range of DNC-themed gear to Project Zomboid, offering immersive gameplay with historically inspired designs.

In addition to military zones, survivalist camps, and secret bases, these items can occasionally be found in civilian locations, reflecting their limited post-military circulation.

This mod is the first step in a larger project to add all authentic USGI camouflage patterns into Project Zomboid. From Woodland to 3-Color Desert and beyond, the goal is to provide a comprehensive collection of historically accurate U.S. military gear.
