How to Stop FPS Drops in Warthunder!
By khydenedwards999
1. Open Warthunder: Launch the game from your client.

2. Access Graphics Settings: Navigate to Options > Graphics in the main menu.

3. Switch Graphics API: Locate the Renderer setting.

If it's set to DirectX/3D 12 (Beta), switch it to Auto (DirectX/3D 11) for better compatibility and stability.

Note: Changing the renderer might reset your Warthunder graphics settings to default. After the switch, you should reconfigure them to your preferred visuals. Also, It might not be DirectX/3D 12 (beta), so your graphic might be too high or too detailed, which causes an FPS drop. If it does not stop the FPS drop, report it to the Gaijin forum.

I hope this helps. Enjoy the Warthunder.

I got exact same problem on my laptop with 4070, like rest of the maps works fine, but only with the snow, fps drops from 100-120 to 15
