Quickest Way to Configure Stalker: SoC in 2024

Quick, easy near vanilla set-up for Stalker: SoC in 2024.

Stalker Essentials Set-Up 2024

1. Install Stalker: SoC on your PC through Steam.
   
2. Right Click -> Betas -> Select pre-1.0007, very imp, this fixes Steam Overflow (fps counter, and makes the game much more stable imo)
   
3. Download ZRP, ZRP_1.07_R5RC.7z[www.metacognix.com]
   
4. Follow Instructions on how to install it, basically create a gamedata folder in your base directory and copy the contents, edit fsgame.ltx to include the gamedata folder
   
5. in your gamedata folder, open Modifier.exe and select what options you need, default ones are pretty good, vanilla like though I would suggest switching headbob/sway fully OFF ( I also personally like setting all gun names to real but it's upto you)
   
6. That's it, start the game and enjoy! This is pretty vanilla and decently stable

Note: Eating food in dead bodies inventory will crash the game! Please check this list[www.metacognix.com] for all bugs present even with that MOD enabled.
