APEX LEGENDS LAUNCH OPTIONS
Door Jowimp
Many players are interested in what launch options Apex Legends pro players use. Others, on the contrary, have not even heard that such settings exist, but this does not mean that the startup settings should be ignored.

In some cases, it is only thanks to the correct selection of parameters that it is possible to optimize the work of Apex Legends on a computer, and even more so on weak PCs. Let's figure out what important parameters exist, what they serve for, and where to specify these parameters.

Apex Legends Basic Launch Options
-novid – Disables all intro videos.

-forcenovsync – Disables vertical sync completely.

+cl_showfps 4 – Displays the game fps monitor (not Origin).

+cl_showpos 2 – Displays the player's coordinates and speed.

+fps_max 0 – FPS limiter (0-no limit) (when sync is off, the game is still blocked at 144 frames).

+m_rawinput 1 – direct mouse connection, ignoring mouse sensitivity settings in Windows xx

-freq 144 – Monitor hertz, the maximum available is set in the game settings. (You can adjust 60/144/240, etc.)

-threads 8 – Sets the number of threads for the game (depends on your processor) see the threads in the task manager or special processor.

-fullscreen – Launch the game in full screen mode.

-dxlevel 95 – Launches the game via DirectX9 (requires fewer resources).

-high – Launches the game with the “High” priority (background applications may start to lag, the “Install Origin Update…” error may appear at the start of the game, with these problems I do not recommend!)

-preload – (or cl_forcepreload 1 in autoexec.cfg) Loads textures and objects in advance, can increase performance. (I highly do not recommend it for BR, it can cause lags and freezes. Treatment after this command: cl_forcepreload 0, if it does not work, then reinstall the game)

+exec autoexec – Allows you to load a custom cfg with personal settings (Create a “New Text Document” in the root of the game in the “cfg” folder, open the txt file and click the “File/Save As” button with the name autoexec.cfg, now you can add various commands here. Or copy the “config_default_pc.cfg” file and rename it to autoexec and delete all the contents of the file inside.

For example:

hud_setting_minimapRotate 1 – Map rotation along with your movement (the mini-map rotates along with the player);

mat_screen_blur_enabled 0 – HUD transparency (game panel) (0-on 1-off)
Example of what it looks like and what I use: +fps_max 0 -threads 12 -dxlevel 95 -novid -forcenovsync -freq 144 +exec autoexec

Game settings, videoconfig.cfg lowering settings to raise fps
Here everything is as usual: if you want to squeeze out the maximum FPS, try to lower all parameters to “low” or “off”; especially a lot of frames are absorbed by settings related to volumetric lighting, shadows and anti-aliasing, model quality.
Parameters that have a minimal effect on fps: “Texture quality” “Anisotropic filtering” “Impact traces” - provided that your processor is not a bottleneck for your video card.
If every frame is important, turn everything down to minimum.
Run the game only in “Fullscreen mode”; otherwise, you will lose about 5-15 frames.
If your FPS is limited to 144 frames, use the command: +fps_max 0

//The value of “setting.r_lod_switch_scale” is “0” do not set this value, the game will turn into Minecraft. (this is for super ultra low PC)
