Description
9F 2-10-0s were a familiar sight on the Pines Express, and it has become something of a tradition on the West Somerset Railway to hire one in during the summer months. In this scenario, you will be driving 92214 (dressed up as 92220 Evening Star) on a recreation of the Pines Express during the WSR’s SDJR-themed gala. You begin the scenario at Minehead and are currently awaiting final departure clearance at 13:15. Once cleared to depart, you will call at Blue Anchor, Watchet, Williton, Crowcombe Heathfield, and Bishop’s Lydeard. Enjoy the twin exhaust blast as your 9F climbs the hills! Duration: about 90 minutes.
