This mod adds a variety of advanced firearms! Designed with vanilla balance in mind, this mod should perfectly fit alongside mods like the Vanilla Weapons Expanded series.

A brief overview of the content added by this pack


Between charge-pulse munitions and precision rifling, there is now a new tier of powered weapons. These weapons include:






Alongside the new power tier of weapons, Advanced Weapons also adds a select variety of charge-pulse weapons!





Some of these weapons also have mechanoid variants - and yes, for players with the Biotech DLC, they are gestateable.

Combat Extended users also get a few extra variants with underbarrel attachments!


Q&A

Does this mod work with Combat Extended?
Yes! The mod is patched on my end, make sure you load this mod *after* Combat Extended.

How's balance compared to vanilla/other mods?
This mod's weapons were balanced with other popular weapon mods like Vanilla Weapons Expanded in mind. They should perfectly slot into vanilla!

Yeah those grenadiers are awful mainly because they never reload and have usually around 100 rounds
just never ending death, with a very powerful shield with CE

I don't mind the rocket centipede personally because you can just walk up to it and punch it in the face but the grenadiers are insane

I would say that is okay mod, graphics are nice and new weapons are okayish. But for the love of Randy Random remove those mechanoids. They are bane to my existence, like imagine centipede with triple rocket launcher with small CD and no charges. They are insane as is, add to that other mods like mechanoid upgrades and this 1 centipede can steam roll your whole colony.

May there be any balance adjustments in the context of the 1.6 changes? I.E., with the improved Charge Rifle, will the Charge Battle Rifle be buffed as well?
