@stun Okay I'll look into that, thanks for your help!

So there exists an option for making startingHediffs only appear some of the time(<chance>), and as far as I can tell it should work out of the box like setting their severity, but after fiddling about with it for 30-60 minutes I couldn't get it to work and I don't have much intention to spend very long on rimworld atm, sorry.

You'll have to just remove the section for each pawntype you don't want to have buffs in the Patches folder, maybe. If you remove the buffs from the mid-tier specialists like berserker so it only appears on the leader-type pawns it should reduce how often you see them by a lot.

Ah yeah you’re right, I was comparing it to the leader’s combat command. I forget that things like the marksman command exist because most ideologies don’t have them. I didn’t realise the marksman buff was that powerful. -40% aiming time on all pawns is cooked.

I do think my point about them being too common still stands though. Every raid I get, it seems like just about every pawn is buffed

They are literally the exact same buffs that ideology gives your pawns (other than having a longer duration).

I really like the idea of this, but I think its current implementation is really overpowered. The buffs are way too common and the bonuses they give are *way* stronger than the ideology ones your pawns can get.

Very good idea, makes so much sense and makes raids more interesting!

I am surprised this hasn't been done until now, might consider trying this.

How does this feel to play?
