Dwarven Civs Get ALL Clothes & Armor!

Description
This mod gives dwarven civilizations access to ALL clothes and armor (capes, chausses, head veils, high boots, masks, turbans, and more!) I found that other similar mods that claimed to give dwarves everything were not entirely accurate as they excluded a select few items, so I decided to create a mod that gives dwarves ALL clothes in the game as of the upload date. Theoretically, this shouldn't conflict with any other mods that change what clothes are available to dwarven civilizations, just keep in mind the load order and purpose of the respective mods. Thanks to 0x517A5D on the Bay12 forums for help debugging the long-standing issue with braies (and only braies) not being added to dwarven civs, and for making a more elegant code suggestion to fix it.

A few notes you should take into consideration before using this mod:

-This mod makes some slight changes to the game's skirt entries to prevent the respective skirt crafts as showing up as just "make skirt" in the clothier and leatherworker screens. This has the side effect of slightly changing the name format of long and short skirts. By default, a long skirt made from cow leather would be called a "long cow leather skirt." With this mod, that item would instead be called a "cow leather long skirt." This shouldn't affect gameplay in any way.

-In Dwarf Fortress, masks are technically worn on the head, not the face, and are a SHAPED piece of armor. Since helmets are also SHAPED, and since you can't wear two SHAPED items on the same body part, your dwarves are unable to wear both masks and helmets at the same time.

-This mod adds the METAL_ARMOR_LEVELS tag to masks so that civilians will wear cloth and leather masks but not metal ones (which, presumably, would be reserved for your military dwarves.)

Yes, it is compatible with the adventure mode update. Just tested it with a fresh install to confirm and had no issues downloading the mod, adding it to the world's mod list, and loading into it in adventure mode and accessing the clothing items as a dwarf in a dwarven civ. Not sure what would be preventing you from installing it.
is this mod compatible with the adventure mode update? it wont install for me, for some reason

This mod does not touch any of the sprites or graphics, nor does it change how the game handles sprites or graphics. The only thing it changes is the dwarven civ entity files and some of the code tags associated with various clothing items. Try loading your CGE Redux mod without this mod and see if the issue persists.

Any reason why certain clothing items appear to be "floating" above sprites of some dorfs? I only have this and CGE Redux, and I'm not sure why either would cause the issue.

On the DF wiki's armor page, braies are noted as being "uncommon" but native, so there may be some bug in vanilla DF that makes them get lost more frequently than most other clothing designs. The only other thing marked "uncommon" are togas, are those are similarly native for dwarves. I've personally never had a SINGLE fort that could EVER make either togas or braies, so I'm honestly shocked to learn that they're meant to be native!

I downloaded the Forthammer mod pack and took a look at its defines. It doesn't look like there should be any conflicts between the two since Forthammer does not appear to change any of the clothing items, nor does it change their availability for dwarven civs. If you encounter any issues with it, feel free to let me know.

Does this work for forthammer?

Bear in mind that it's possible for individual clothing items to be lost or (re)discovered by dwarves throughout the history of any given world. I had the misfortune one time of starting a vanilla game, and finding out my dwarves lost the secrets of the High Boot - AFTER I finally got my steel industry up and running, hours and hours later. It could be that braies have some weird hardcoded issue, or it might be just dumb luck that both of you lost them in your respective worlds. Recheck your modded raws, and give it a few test runs on different generated worlds - ya never know.

You're correct, I did not notice that. However, what's odd is that they *should* be available, but for some reason are not. I just created a fort and looked at the military uniform screen and noticed that ONLY braies are marked as foreign. I double-checked everything to make sure I didn't misspell something or miss a tag, but everything looks correct. At the moment, I'm left scratching my head as to why this is occurring, but I'll think on it.

i appear to be missing braies, unless its available at a workshop other than clothier/leatherworker or by default simply missing :) great mod however
