Meinter Mk.III nr.54-307 Romani Empire Fleet

Meinter class models of liquid methane powered ships are the backbone of Romani Fleet. Created for quick ground strikes in short to middle ranges provide substantial firepower to enforce the rule of Romani Empire on ground.

!Vessel requires minimun of 2 players for it to be actually usefull in any way. No friends, no fun!

Armament:
  • -Singular AK 725 VYMPEL Air-Ground double barrel cannon
  • -Twin D-40 MOLOT Air-Air Precision Cannons
  • -Twin Weapon Hardpoints (Default bomb racks installed)
  • -40 Rounds of FRAG amunition for D-40
  • -200 Rounds of HE amunition for AK 725
  • -4 single warhead bombs (can be equiped with more)
Flight Specification
  • -4 NK-25 Liquid Methane engines producing 18MN of thrust each
  • -5000L of Liquid Methane fuel
  • -13 minutes of flight time (80% of Power)
  • -Duel Flight Setup: vessel can be piloted from SEAT DOWN position allowing easier acces to displays and
    pannels / SEAT UP position allows for easier manouvering and provides greater field of view

  • -Navigation: Vessel can be navigated via heading indicator, target heading is to be provided by captain

  • -Flight Engineer
  • -Pilot
    Additional 2 crew members are reccomended for onboard maintanance and ground operations

Captain is responsible for commanding and navigating the vessel. Radio Station and Map terminal are provided for comunication and navigation purpuses

Gunner
Gunner is responsible for operating vessel's weaponary. Separate targeting systems are provided for A-A and A-G combat. Gunner is also responsible for operating onboard Radar to his right and warning crew of any dangers.

Mk.III models are equipped with Radio Jammers that can succesfully distrupt enemy comunication, this inforamtion is to not be shared

Flight Engineer is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vessel systems at all times, for this task he is always to be in strict cooperation with the pilot.

Pilot is responsible for piloting the vessel to it's desired destination and is directly responsible for ship durning combat, for that he is always to be in strict cooperation with Gunner to ensure succesful mission.


i'm used to doing historical replicas of tanks but wanted to try something diffrent and since i really enjoyed highfleet and there isn't anyone that will build functional ship from it, I decided to do it myself. Since it's kinda of a unique type of flying creation, I had to make a lot of stuff myself or hevly modify some forgotten workshop stuff (and trust me I'm not good at LUA) because of that i had to make a lot of compromises and take a lot of shortcuts. My lack of skills regarding that sector made the final creation a lot less interesting that i wanted it to be but I will try to add the missing stuff sometime.

Some assets are not yet copleted but I will work on that and try to polish it as much as I can, please take into consideration what I said when rating this thing.

Since this creation was made over the course of 4 months I forgotten the name of creators for the rest of the microcontrollers. I also modified the heck out of everything so the descriptions and symbols are lost. if I used your microcontroller then let me know so i can put tou into credits.

Know problems and shortcomings:
  • No Audio warnings

After using it there is one question: how to recharge the batteries?

It does not work with infinite ammo (you have to spawn it with it turned off). Also remember that weapons are assigned to their corresponding targeting pod (AA guns wont shoot if you are using the lower one). For "hand firing" you need to turn on manual mode and press "lock target" which will select the point you are looking, then you can fire. Guys pls read the description, I spend more time on it than you think
