Clue Conspiracy

Description
A somewhat interesting take on Clue.. if somewhat flawed. Hasbro decided to try their hand at the 'hidden role' formula, and I like such games, so I figured I'd bite. I saw it on clearance, so that was enough to sway me.

That said, I think play-testing was somewhat minimal.. or rushed. I can't explain why, but it feels that way. Regardless, it's an alright introduction to hidden role games. It also has a cheap price tag, even when not on clearance, in comparison to games like Unfathomable.

...Anyway, I will also note here that I don't think the four player mode was play-tested at all with the rules as they are written. The conspirators don't know each other with four players, which is fine. A random card gets added to checks to disarm a trap, which is also fine.. great, in fact.. that aspect could maybe be in the base rules. However, despite not knowing who the other is.. they can dead-lock the voting every single time by just voting everything down. That will eventually lead to a conspiracy win if played out to the fullest. I figured this out by just reading the rulebook.
So, if you plan to play with four players.. a houserule of some sort will be needed.

Will also note.. in an ideal world, I'd be able to change the hand colors to match the characters. But, I can't do that. So I would advise keeping your identity envelope near to your hand for those situations where the green player takes the yellow character to play as. So.. don't take out your annoyance about Mr. Green on the green player. :)

Credits:
Hasbro gets the main credit for the game itself.

Scans are from my physical copy of the game.
--Scout and Bodyguard Logs
--Friend, Accomplice, and Ringleader Role cards
--Supply cards
--Clue cards
--Clue tokens
--Double-sided Trap cards
--Identity envelopes

Random bits:
Both states of the board are from pictures I took, so they're not optimal in the slightest.. but I can't find shots of them anywhere online. I don't exactly have a studio or any type of setup for taking pictures.. so the lighting is terrible and I don't have a tripod or anything for steadiness, so it is what it is.
I tried to enhance the shots, altering the brightness, contrast, saturation, sharpness, etc.. I even just flat out replaced the text on the locations (and the health and storm tracker). So, at least it can be read. For the other state (the back of the board with the physical copy), I replaced all of the smaller text. The larger text, I left alone.

Voting in the game is done using a thumbs up and thumbs down. Not really possible here in TTS, so I made two cards for voting. They are in the character envelopes, along with the appropriate pawn.

TTS shows you the number of items in a container by mousing over it, so having the Ringleader put the plot cards in their identity envelope is unwise. Instead, I made a 'conspiracy plot' envelope.. based on the confidential 'case file' envelope from the normal game of Clue.

Wooden cloud and heart tokens made by me.

I also added two beads to help keep track of who was previously the scout and bodyguard.

PDF rulebook modified from the one downloaded from Hasbro's site.
--They are so weird with their online manuals. I remember Monopoly For Millennials also being strange.

Other credits include:
Make Everything A Bag - Used to turn the identity envelopes, and conspiracy plot envelope, into bags. They are originally tiles. My method for making things bags seems to only work on locked objects, otherwise they embed themselves into the table on load.. so this tool is VERY useful. It's also faster than the method I was using, making it obsolete. Wish I knew about this thing before!

Clue (Scripted) - Character pawns are from here

Who goes first dice [scripted] - Handy die for determining a first player. Says it's scripted by 0rganics.. but I can't find this thing anywhere on the workshop, or the creator. I got it from the Unfathomable mod.

Fun Fact: Due to Orchid not being included, it is likely canon that Orchid killed Boddy
