Description
Play as the ancient legend Hanno; in Sid Meier's Civilization VI.

Punic civilization extended from the foot of the Lebanon Mountains to the Pillars of Hercules. Far from home, the Carthaginians cemented their position as the dominant Punic port in the Mediterranean through religious tribute and its foundation on a natural harbour. It was a gradual process that saw Carthage come to prominence. The city produced some of the greatest explorers of the ancient world. If scraps of ancient Greek knowledge are to be believed, then it was Hanno the Navigator that was the first Mediterranean explorer to reach as far as Cameroon in the heart of Africa.

  • Part of: Land of Milk and Honey Expansion; Plus Ultra Expansion.
  • Not to be played with the Carthage Civilization.
  • Requires: Gathering Storm and Ethiopia.
  • Is multiplayer compatible.

    LEADER: HANNO
  • Trait - Journey to Atlantis: Begin with the Eurekas for Sailing, Celestial Navigation, and Shipbuilding. Naval Melee class units gain +3 Combat Strength when in formation and share their Movement. Defeating enemy units from a previous era grants Science equal to 100% of their Combat Strength. Completing the Government Plaza or Diplomatic Quarter grants a Settler.
  • Agenda - Magonid Explorer: Likes civilizations that have explored less of the map than himself. Dislikes civilizations that have explored more of the map than himself.

    *Model was made possible through 'The Fallen Eagle' mod for Crusader Kings III.
    *Hanno the Navigator Great Admiral renamed to Himilco the Navigator.
