Bela's Brothers of Battle and Doomfire Duelists (male Sisters of Slaughter and Witch Elves)

The most vicious of druchii men are so swift that armour is but a burden for them.

For some reason, all male druchii (with one ugly exception aka doomfire warlocks), unlike female, are covered in armour from head to toe, which doesn't correspond with dark elves' aesthetics at all. To fix this is an ultimate quest, especially while there are mods that change druchii units from male to female, but not the other way around.

DESCRIPTIONS

The Brothers fight as they live, moment to moment, with every gut-spilling swipe and viper-quick slash unplanned until the second it is unleashed. Those who have not seen the Brothers of Slaughter at their quicksilver trade mock their talents, refusing to believe that mere instinct - however finely honed - could replace discipline and training. Such doubts last only until the naysayer witnesses a lone Brother hack his way through a trio of captured Daemons, or sees a handful of gladiators fell a raging Chimera with an attack patter that is as sublimely artistic as it is impossible to predict.

Unlike the Vauvalka, who've been exiled after Malekith learned about the prophecy of demise, Doomfire warlocks were obiterated with a curse of hollowness, forever dividing their souls between the mortal world and the realm of Slaanesh. The duelists appeared in the battlefields some time later, inspired by the power of Warpsword of Khaine wielded by a Slaanesh-possessed lord Malus. Closely assosiated with the Vauvalka, the Warlocks take part in bloody rites and rituals. However, unlike their witch-brothers, the Duelists prefer to rush into the very heart of the battle. turning it into a bloodbath with occasional swift swings of sword and flashes of Doomfire spells descended from the blackened lips.

DIFFERENCES

Brothers of Battle differ from the Sisters only by their appearance and voices - all stats are left untouched.

On the other hand, Doomfire Duelists are close to be a new unit, merged from Witch Elves and Doomfire Warlocks. Their stats are the same as those of Witch Elves, except the Duelists have 5 points more of armour and higher weapon damage due to the effects of Doomfire blades. Along with witchbrew they also have both spells of the Warlocks. In order to make them useful in the late game, the Duelists combine all army skills buffs from both Witch Elves and Doomfire Warlocks. When fully buffed, they might be considered a decent doom unit (pun is actually unintended). To balance this, their recruitment and upkeep costs are increased significantly in comparison to others - 1000/295 for regulars and 1200/325 for Brothers of the Singing Doom.

COMPATIBILITY

This mod might have minor incompatibilities with various Dark Elves overhauls, specifically in the UI, SPECIFICALLY in army skill trees. These issues, however, should not in any case affect the game and might only lead to vanishing of unit cards from the descriptions of army skills (though texts are edited too, these edits, so far, do not show up for some reason - which means that you don't have to worry about that). Some other minor issues might appear when used with rare mods that anyhow influence Hellebron's campaign effects, but again, shouldn't lead to any fatal errors. Influence of said effect on the Doomfire Duelists is yet to be tested. PLEASE REPORT ALL THE BUGS YOU'LL FIND.
