Places, you have to know in Fallout 4 (Сhapter 2)

Interesting places in Fallout 4 that you should not miss by exploring the Wasteland - the Special Edition with the unmarked Vendors

The Introduction

The guide will be updated over time, so don`t forget to write new places under the guide.
This will help create the most detailed guide for beginners and experienced Wasteland Survivalists!

1. Hidden Places in the Underground

Description: Some places are well hidden deep in the underground and easy to miss. Maybe you have to explore the one or the other location again to find them.

1.1 Old Gullet Sinkhole

Description: Danger place, where the Deathclaw lurks in the ruins... But if you go down into the crater itself, you will find the treasure of Grandfather Savoldi!

• Grandfather Savoldi's hat, which is final point of quest Fallen hero, that Joe Savoldi from Bunker Hill gave you upon meeting

1.2 Dunwich Borers

Description: It's a big marbel quarry, west of the Museum of Witchcraft. Go all the way down end enter the Dunwich Borers through a door. Now follow the path till you reach a water hole. Dive in the hole and find next to some mini nukes the Machete «Kremvh's Tooth». A legendary weapon with a large damage boost, additional poison and bleeding damage.

2. Unmarked Vendors

Description: Exploring the map you'll also find some unmarked vendors who will trade interesting stuff.

2.1 The Cat Shack

Description: In the Southeast of the Malden Swamp you'll find a shack on a hill with a vendor who has a lot of cats.









Trade with him/her will give you early access to the cool "Atom-Cats-Outfit"

2.2 Cricket

Description: The merchant Cricket appears randomly at the map on different locations. But there is also a guaranteed spawn locations - camp in front of Vault 81 and Bunker Hill. Closest place for newbie will be here:
Meeting and trade with her you can buy another legendary weapon: the "Spray n' Prey" Submachine Gun with an exploding bullet effect in which each shot deals 15 points of area-effect-explosive-damage on impact.

2.3 Leonard Moore

Description: You can find him between the Museum of Witchcraft and Coastal Cottage. Just look out for a neon "Open" sign. Leonard is particularly well stocked with ammunition, both in quantity and rarity.

2.4 Suggs' Garage

Description: In the northwest of Greenetech Genetics, you'll see Suggs' Garage with an orange canopy. A place to can get up to 7 legendary and rare/unique Weapons.

2.5 Eleanor

Description: She can be found in a trailer northwest of Fairline Hill Estates. Eleanor is particularly well stocked with ammunition, both in quantity and rarity.

2.6 The Vault Tech Rep

Description: He is the exception of the lvl 4 hidden vendors. He has no permanent booth to trade, but you can meet him by chance on the second floor of the Hotel Rexford in Goodneighbor.After talking to him you can recruit him to one of your settlements.

2.7 Hard to find Level 4 Vendors

Description: There are four more "Tier 4 Merchants" who will appear randomly and on different locations on the map. They will not only provide much better equipment and junk than normal settlers, you can also recruit them to one of your settlements - but only when assigned to tier 3 stores.

• The Scribe - Armor Specialist

• Ron Staples - Food & Drink Specialist

• Doc Anderson - Clinic Specialist

• Smiling Larry - Weapons Specialist

3. Power Armors (the first Locations)

Description: As you should know meanwile: the higher your level, the better Power Armors you can get. But as there are so much loctions we'll pick out only some of them, which are easy to miss. It will be continued in our next guides.

3.1 South Boston Military Checkpoint

Description: Following the Emergency Frequency RJ1138 will lead you to the South Boston Military Checkpoint. Run around the building and on the backside you'll see caged Power Armor and a terminal to unlock the doors. After hacking the terminal you've access to a full set of X-01 Power Armor.
Additional Loot:

3.2 National Guard Armory

Description: Closed on lock place, which located on the territory of National Guard Training Yard.

3.3 Unmarked Location (01)

Description: Northeast from the Sanctuary is the Robotics Disposal Ground. Leave the disposal ground to the north and cross the street. You'll see e a crashed Vertibird] and next to it, you can find parts of a Power Armor.

3.4 Unmarked Location (02)

Description: Quicktravel to the Old North Church and head to the north. You'll find a float with military vehicles on it. Between the vehicles you'll see a terminal. Hacking it gives you access to a complete T-51 Power Armor.

3.5 Unmarked Location (03)

Description: On East Tenpines Bluff, inside the crashed train
Leaving Tenpines Bluff to the east you'll see a crashed train at the bottom of the cliff along the railroad. The Power Armor is in a cage next to a blue train car. The only way to get to it is by hacking the advanced terminal in this train car.

4. "He told me that!" (Diamond-City Edition)

Description: News you might hear while walking through the vast wastelands or cities of the Commonwealth

4.1 Museum of Witchcraft

Description: A mysterious Gothic church located in the North-East of the Commonwealth, information about which the hero can get from the guards in Diamond City or the vigilantes in Goodneighbor. To get inside, you need to find a hatch to the basement, located near the right wall of the building.[/b]
Useful Loot:

• Journal "Grognak the Barbarian" № 10-«What sorcery this?»

• First aid kit x2

Additional information:
1 - The place is connected with the Quest the Devil's Due, which will make you experience a whole range of emotions and test your nerves for strength
Reward:

• 400 exp

• recipe "Deathclaw Willingham"

or

• Deathclaw Gauntlet

2 - Behind the building there is a treasure, that is hidden in the stone

4.2 Combat Zone

Description: The place is located in the east of central Boston, in the Theater District. Fans of epic fight movies will be delighted! Inside, everything looks like a fight club: the lobby, the manager's office, the auditorium, and, of course, the stage. Traveller can hear about Combat Zone from Diamond City's guardians.
Useful Loot:

• Journal "Picket Fences" №4

• A lot of melee weapons and drugs

Additional information:
1 - Upon entering the building, as if on display, you will be met by two hostages whom you can rescue. As main character will know later, they have broken the rules of the fight club!
2 - If we kill all raiders inside the building, sinner will get a new companion - Cait - the best fighter there!

4.3 Westing Estate

Description: The estate, which before the war belonged to baseball coach Westing and his family, is located southwest of Diamond City



Useful Loot:

• The Unstoppables! «Commie-Kazi vs Manta Men»

Additional information:

• Place connected with the quest: Out in Left Field - ask the Baseball Vendor Moe Cronin(in Diamond City) for work. Sinner should bring him the three unique items (a signed baseball, signed catcher's mitt and signed baseball card)

4.4 Forest Grove Marsh

Description: Location consists of several residential and other small buildings, sunken and flooded by the river. It is placed on West from Diamond-City










Additional information:

• Location connected with the sidequest Botany Class (in Diamond City)

4.5 Hardware Town

Description: The location is in the southeast of Fens, south of the Parkview Apartment Building and east of the Mass Pike Tunnel - east.










Useful Loot:

• Picket Fences №2: «Modern Hearth»
  

Additional information:

• Place connected with quest Painting the Town - talk with Abbot (in Diamond City) and bring him green paint

Nice guide. But you could add hubris comics. it is a slightly tough fight if your low level or don't know what your doing.
