i think i *might* have located the issue =>
"Access to script ./assets/index.e2ce666a.js from origin 'null' has been blocked by CORS policy: Cross origin requests are only supported for protocol schemes: chrome, chrome-extension, chrome-untrusted, data, http, https, isolated-app."
As my browser have possibly blocks the request due to security concerns.

I'm not sure if changing browser / changing OS would fix the problem. However, I have managed to make the html page work by running local web-server. (No longer just white empty page)

Here's a similar issue found on this github page [github.com], hopefully can help some other folks around.

not compatible with arch linux, will crash the whole kde desktop environment. Uncertain of the attempts with other distros / wallpaper engine conversion tools.

current using package for running wallpaper engine on linux: "plasma6-wallpapers-wallpaper-engine-git"
