(Star Wars) T - 6 Shuttle

A recreation of the T - 6 Shuttle as seen in Star Wars: Ahsoka

This ship is NOT survival ready however remains capable of atmospheric flight up to 1G.

This ship is based off the version from the Ahsoka TV Series, however it retains attributes from other models seen in The Clone Wars and Tales of the Jedi, most notably a forward loading ramp. However it can be modified to resemble the vessels from either of those series.

While this ship is completely vanilla and lightly armored, it is not defenseless, sporting a double auto cannon ball turret mounted above the central rear thruster. This turret has a small defensive cone, so targets will need to be almost directly behind the shuttle for it to be effective. There are no offensive weapons on this ship.

While this ship may be large relatively large, the hydrogen engine block takes up most of the interior space, leaving little habitation space and NO jump drive. This ship is only capable of short to mid range operations.

I tried my best to recreate the spinning wings function, however a physical rotating wing would require a sophisticated mechanism, which regardless of which way I tried was persistently unstable. In the end I opted for a projector wing, which reduces wight and drastically increases stability and durability. It is locked to a 90 degree rotation in one direction, however you can remove these constraints and rotate the wings a full 360.
