"Hey, we really need some help building these walls here!"

"Nope, can't help you. I'm a Shooting Specialist. Don't know how to build. Don't know how to mine, either."

Enough of that nonsense! This simple patch removes the forbidden work from all specialist roles. Specialists no longer have some sort of hatred for other work types just because they're good at what they do. This requires the Ideology DLC. Safe to add or remove mid-game. Feel free to request support for a specific mod, and I'll see if I can patch it.

(The in-game role descriptions still say they will refuse to do other work types. Simply ignore it, they'll work.)

I think what I did was I downloaded this one because the one I was originally using wasn't updated to 1.6 yet, but when it did, I just added it back to my modlist and forgot to remove this one.

Turns out I had another mod that did the same thing as this one, but never noticed.

In short, I'm just dumb.

I don't seem to get any errors on my end. My only guess could be a mod conflict, but I'm not sure what

Getting errors like this:
[Ideo Roles Don't Forbid Work] Patch operation ModSettingsFramework.PatchOperationModOption(count=1, lastFailedOperation=Verse.PatchOperationReplace(Defs/PreceptDef[defName = "IdeoRole_ShootingSpecialist"]/roleDisabledWorkTags/li[4])) - IRP_ShootingSpecialistMining failed

I notice you mentioned you just updated to incldue patches for Vanilla Ideology Expanded, but I'm still getting these errors. I unsubscribed and resubscribed. Haven't found if it actually causes issues yet, so it could be harmless errors.
